Well, the thing is personally I'd think 10t sets would speed things up. I can handle sitting down for half an hour and playing ten turns with 3-7 screenshots any night of the week. An epic 50t chunk? The mind quails. Normal I could be convinced on, but like Bigger says, that's a lot harder.

Epic on 10 turns sounds cool to me. I'll join if 5 isn't too many.

Sounds fine by me. I think kjn was hesitant to run an epic, but normal would make it significantly harder. I think that just about closes signups, though. Unless another 3-4 want a shadow run.

Fun, I'll definately do a shadow run. Don't wanna screw up this epic.
Camel archers are nice for clearing house and means no need to restart if military resources screw you over - but I could think of better leaders...

That's kind of the point. Darius, for instance, would basically clean house, but the appeal of Saladin is that he's got some stuff to work with (Spiritual power, Protective in case of screwy copper/horse/iron), but isn't the best possible, adding to the "fun".
Queeg, here's the settings set, only deviance from defaults would be no vassalage (because it's danged screwy).
And here's a workable, actually amazing start position on a two-continent map. Need to ensure at least two AIs at home to make things dynamic, beyond that:

So you definitely want ice age?
(And Saladin?)

oh, I didn't realize you were going to let us get a peek at the worldbuilder file :P
anyway, normal game we settle in place of course. But here I think we have to settle on the copper hill. sucks that we won't be able to settle on the marble, but that will be a 2-3-1 city tile w/ BW, and more importantly give us copper .
am I correct that all cities will get copper once we have sailing? Or rather, all coastal cities, or river cities connected to a coastal cities, or river cities connected to a river that reaches the coast.
