OK, so I've decided to go with my initial decision on Leader; I do like the look of Productive, but as I said previously I'm playing a game with the Worker/WB bonus and also I'd like to avoid the border pop issue and will stick with CRE.
Now as far as civ goes I've not been particularly attached to any choice. I'd been leaning towards Zulu for the RAX REX benefits, but I think that Greece might indeed be a better choice. Starting techs are good and I do like the idea of the cheap, souped-up Colosseums.
So Catherine of Greece will make mincemeat out of her opponents...

Speling smeling ... just as long as it tasts good.
Here is something to get you started ...
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Ah yes, that will be useful. Interestingly in my research I discovered that different countries have different standard cuts - for beef at least. I was planning on using the UK versions, but maybe I'll go with cuts common between countries. Or just use a mish-mash.

Off we go!
Scout moved E then NW revealing the water to the North, Spices and Rice. Crabs remained hidden, but either way I don't think I would have moved the location of Scrag End from SIP:
Land to the NE looks like a peninsula, so I'll send the Scout to the SW and defog later with a Warrior.
And the save passes on...

Minor moment of panic when I forgot the password; fortunately I remembered on the 3rd attempt.
For the record, it is "Steak"
Here's the post-turn pic since that shows more:
Nice mix of Resources visible. That Tundra Furs suggests South Pole, although the map may wrap Toroidal I suppose. Mountain range will make city placement interesting, but is a defensive bonus, I guess. Also, the tile bleed all but confirms that the NE is a peninsula.
Scout will probably head W-SW next turn to get through the Mountains and then loop either South or North depending on terrain. No Huts, so it's defogging and finding neighbours duty for him.

Yum, more Pork:
3S of Scrag End is starting to look good as a new city site.

And lo, on the 4th turn the Meaty civilisation did survey the farthest coast of their great island and found it fertile. They declared that henceforth this place would be known as "Pork Island" and there was much feasting and merriment:

Overview shot from after EoT:
AH revealed Horses to the West. I'm assuming that's a peninsula as well, but will have to send someone out that way to check.
Looks like quite a bit of land now to the South and East, and no sign of any other Tundra to go with those Furs...
Worker completed and will head to Sheep. Not sure what I'll build next tbh; probably a Warrior or Scout before starting the WB. BW will follow Mining.

You'll never guess what we found exploring this turn:
OK, so maybe you did!
Worker is out and I've started a Warrior. BW should coincide with completion of the second Sheep Pasture and then move on to chop.
