2. Donovan Zoi - Zulu. Pair with an Aggressive leader and either Impi rush an unprepared opponent or use them in support of a HA rush. Ag/Hunting start techs are solid.

France, Egypt and China are still on the table. As are Pacal, Ramses, Stalin, Peter,

two more to go then we'll see.

Pacal of France would be my pick if available.

or Sury.

Fuck.
It's like being a kid in a candy store with only a dime to spend. So many good leaders still available and I only get to pick one.

Sury of France it is.

10t worker --> Worker farms wheat.

To do: Sim Pottery first and Cottaging the FP after the wheat farm vs Hunting + Pig pasture.

Pottery 1st comes out 17 beakers ahead on t31. Settler and BW due eot37. 2 workers and either 3 wars or 1 scout and 2 wars.

Hunting 1st means 2nd worker at size 2 and no second scout. But comes out 2 worker turns ahead on t31. Settler due eot 37. 3 wars (but less scouting as 1st war must stay close to capital) 2 workers. BW due ~eot 38.

So current plan: Pottery/Hunting/Mining/Bronze.

Worker/Scout/Warrior/worker/Warrior/settler.

Worker 1: Farm Wheat, Cottage FP, move to Pigs, Pasture pigs, move to river grass hill 6 of the cap and help worker 2 finish mine.
Both workers cottage the bare riverside grass, completing on t31. T31 capital has just grown to size 5 and just completed a warrior. Start 7t settler working wheat, pigs, 2x cott, and riverside grasshill mine.

Settler and BW complete eot 37. Settler moves + revolt to Slavery t38. 2nd city t39. location TBD.

Quote: Final picks:

1. Gawdzak - Wang Kon of Inca

Decent but dull.

Quote:2. Donovan Zoi - Mehmed II of Zulu

Meh. I'd rather Shaka of Zulu.

Quote:3. Retep - Boudica of Mongolia

Quote:4. Luddite - Victoria of India

Fast workers, Imp settlers, fast expansion with Fin to pay for it.

Quote:5. Elkad - Alexander of Sumeria

Ag Vultures I don't want to be near but I'd rather Stalin of Sumeria than Alex. YMMV.

Quote:6. Wetbandit - Julius Caesar of China

Imp/Org China. Looks decent.

Quote:7. GermanJoJo - Justinian of Aztecs

Meh.

Quote:8. yuris - Darius of Persia

Very good eco traits but no help with expansion. Persia is decent.

Quote:9. Grimace - Roosevelt of Khmer

GLH + Ballistaphants.

Quote:10. Commodore - Saladin of the Celts

GW rush?

Quote:11. Thoth- Sury of France

REX like a SOB, tech to GP, grab some more land with Knigs/Musketeers or aim to Lib Astro. Aiming for both is likely to come up short on both.

Quote:12. Krill - Joao of HRE

Joao with Rathouses and boosted Landsneezes. Major issue with this combo is that Krill is playing it.

Efficient worker usage is a pain with this starting geography.

So far I haven't been able to better than my initial run through:

Build worker-complete eot9. Tech Pottery/hunting/mining/bronze.
T10: Worker starts wheat farm, city grows on 3f/1c tile. Build warrior.
t14; Farm complete.
Eot 15: Size 2. Work 6f/1c wheat + 3f/1c Floodplain. Worker starts cottage (5t) on floodplain.
Eot 16: Finish Warrior.
T19: Cottage done. Eot 19: Size 3.
t20: Swap to Worker. Wheat/floodplain/pigs = +7 food/(3*1.35=4) hammers -->11 foodhammers into worker 2. Worker 1 moves to city.
t21: Worker 1 moves SW of city.
t22: W1 moves to pigs.
t23: Start pig pasture
Eot 25: Worker done
t26: Pigs pastured. Worker 2 moves to river grass hill 1 E of city. Mining done eot.
t27: Start mine. Worker 1 moves.
t28: mine. Worker 1 moves to rgh.
t29: Both workers mine. mine done and worked.
t30: 2 workers cottage. Size 5 eot. warrior 3 done eot.
t31: Start settler (7t working wheat, pigs, flood hamlet, river grass cottage, river grass hill mine). Bronze at 68 beakers (due in 7t at 16 bpt). Cottage completes this turn leaving 6t to road/preimprove for city #2.
