Well. I think Aurorarcher definitely managed to cripple Ventessel with that early warrior raid. 2 dead warriors, a worker, and an escaped high XP warrior to cause paranoia will set Ventessel back 10-15 turns, I think. That hurts the Kurios especially, since so much of their strength is all the early game first-to bonuses.

Maybe too much, actually. Auror's biggest risk right now is Ventessel deciding his new goal is mutual destruction. His latest post sounds like he still has hope, so maybe Auror got this right, but that could easily swing back.

I feel like a father who wants all of his children to do well. It hurts in this case tosee Ventessel struggling so early.

It looks like Auroarcher already has an enormous lead over his rivals, with like 2X in every demo category plus score. Is this game pretty much already decided?

Yeah. Auro has played a really strong expansion / econ game, while Ventessel and Dave had pretty poor openings that they still haven't really recovered from. Dreylin is on the defense, and jalepeno just peaced out. Auro could theoretically have trouble dealing with a large number of summons, but he should be able to tech his way to counters before that's an issue.

So Jalepeno has just acknowledged in-thread that the game is over, and DaveV seems to be begging to be released - I guess we just wait for Auro to kill Ventessel and then we call it?
