As seen during the last 23 turns I settled 1 new city increased the science from 8 to 13 , more then doubled the :culture and increased the income by nearly 1000% clearly I'm the best leader ever My fame even convinced Mr Barca to join my Forces.

Plans for the next 30 peaceful turns: settle a few more cities. Get crossbows, Knight(s) and be strong enough that Rhome looks elsewhere once the DoF runs out. And of course build the one or other Acropolis

Well done all that (except most likely the be strong enough part)




Settled 3 more cities built 2 Acropolis got Feudalism and will get Stirrups next turn. I should have enough money to upgrade 1 chariot. Rho has twice my cities far better science and culture so it is only a question of time when he overruns my cities. He has contact with Russia.

If there remains peace my next goals are field cannons, some Encampments maybe a fort or 2 and increasing my

Turn 108

My DoF with Rome is finished and Rome signed a DoF with Russia.

I used my money to upgrade 1 Chariot to a Knight (to increase my city defenses) and asked Rome for a renewal of our DoF (doubt he will sign it - he has enough money to upgrade several chariots).
I just met Brazil and signed a resource deal with him. I also asked for a loan of 320 gold. As I can only offer a very small return (11gpt for 30 turns) I would be pleasantly surprised if he accepts it.

As expected Rome refused to sign a new DoF. So I'm just waiting for the hammer to fall.

No and Brazil has used up most of that gold in the meantime. Rome will get his Medieval General this turn then use his >1300 gold to upgrade his Units and come knocking with his Army the following turn. His Battering ram is already near my border. So in 10-12 turn Sparta is part of the roman Empire and rho will most likely continue to win this game.

Rho got his General but so far he has not upgraded his Army. So I'm still alive.

Rome is now  a Monarchy and has Forts.





Maybe he waits for Cav and Field-guns to make his conquest fast and furious or perhaps he plans to invade Brazil and let me live (dream on ).
