Should we wait one more day to see if anyone wants to join then just start?

Also a note to anyone who has never played before and is interested but on the fence, I would say this is not a hugely intensive game and its very easy to pick up, and a lot of fun to play. If you are worried you'll be bad at it, no worries its a team game.

I agree with Lewwyn that the game is easy and fun, but add the warning that it does require a regular online presence. This game is not for the people who log in every few days.

Makes sense to me.  If someone wants to join a week from now...then we'll be wrapping up the first game and ready to recruit for another smile.

Logistically, do we need to recruit a ref/admin? I seem to remember that the spymasters can generate the board without any help but I don't remember any details, so I could be mistaken.

I usually just ask pindicator to generate a board and he sends it to the spymasters.

Is it too late for one more?

Would someone care to explain what it is? I don't think I have the time to play (it sounds like), but I've not heard of this before and I'm curious.

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Rules and so forth are posted in the stickied threat at the top of the Other Games forum. Numerous examples of play are visible in the Codenames Archive subforum. It's a really fun game! (In which I would participate if I had the forum time available in the coming days, which I don't think I will.)

WK you're in shades

Superdeath is that a sign up? With you we have 10 and we could start.
