Finally met a CS way too late. Unknown why Rowain is still at size 1. He settled EOT2 like everyone else. Also will found on B sites because I really need the luxury ASAP.

I wonder what has been going on the other threads, especially suboptimals. Until now with the barb appearance, the game has been very boring. Wonder if I need to buy a warrior in capital but I think the slinger can handle it fine. Scouting fail since i only found 1 city state so far, but sending scout west where I think a player is for campus eureka. Been sandbagging techs as usual.

First to 2nd city and probably the 1st to 3rd as well since worker at capital doesnt make sense because of barbs and nothing good to improve. I know TAD made a settler last turn but not sure about others. Interesting graphical bug after I reloaded the turn to get an accurate score.

Followed settler vision and got very lucky in finding the 2nd CS and a new continent. I don't think it will be too hard to fulfill the quest. Wonder if I should get Amani 1st now.

Met TAD although I have no idea where his scout presumably is. Based on his revised topic title, I thought that he met Woden and that TAD would be playing the defender role vs Macedonian armies. Simcity all the way now.

As you can see, monument in 2nd city before district or another worker. I been watching a good number of MP streams lately and sometimes the build is monument before worker in 2nd city. This actually makes a lot of sense since in the early game, there are so few things you want to hit tech timings and governors and PP make culture much more important. There is also no need for early encampment for war preparations. Maybe in MP, you are usually so close to a neighbor so you have to get ready for war? Although TAD has 2 warriors, I can't imagine that he will rush this early. My plan will be fast 4 cities with token military. As for tech, after basic worker techs, I might rush Astrology with no eureka for holy sites depending on the pantheon.

I'm excited to see Korea in a game again. At least this time there's no Mongolia to run rampant and ruin all the careful sandboxing you could do!

Thank you. But can't rule out that Woden is mone of my neighbors. Building another scout at cap since there is so much land to still explore. Also used some gold to buy tiles before EE is done, which will drive-up prices. Sending worker to 3rd city site to improve truffles(?) since there is a chance that Ae-sin will pickup the cow instead of tea and I know that 3rd city will start by working the lux. Found Kandy whose quest is destroy barb camp. Let's see if the northern scout can pull it off.

TAD just built his campus and already getting 3GSP. He took divine spark I think. I will not pursue a 2nd best strategy of going tall but mass expand as planned.
