I have to say Commodore's longbow invasion is one of my highlights in this game.

Feels like Jowy is doing the best job he could on defence here. Amicola's suggestion that he needs cats feels like the next stage of the war - kicking the enemy out - while at the moment his best bet is turtling in his castles. Anything anyone would have done differently?

Also, why does mjmd hate bombarding so much?

Other note: Jowy built the Statue of Zeus, so hopefully he signs peace after the mainland is taken.

Well Amicalola will be surprised to learn more about this after the mainlaind is taken. He better gets peace before that happens.

Im mad that Amicalola seemed to act like we were going to 2v1 Lewwyn (i was holding ALOT of Lewwyns forces at bay) and he peaced out and turned towards Jowy, effectively making this 99% chance a Civac win. So.... Yeah, as soon as i see his stack lose a ton of units/collateral attacking Jowy's city i plan on slamming this into him and either keeping or razing cities, even if/when Lewwyn brings his stack into my territory.

Anyone who follows the game more closely want to help out about concession / no concession? So far I believe

Concession to civac:
- Commodore
- Lewwyn
- Amica
- Gavagai

Not relevant as a power:
- AT
- SD

That only leaves Jowy I think, who does not see himself as a power that can compete with civac as far as I gathered. The last mention of the matter I found was him stating:

"Somehow after losing a city and whipping a ton, I'm still #2 in most demos. Just shows how far apart the pack is from Civac, and this war plays right into his hands.
Well, assuming I manage to defend. Let's say Commodore does manage to conquer me and Lewwyn conquers his neighbors. Maybe the two together can do something about Civac in late game.
I do hope this doesn't just lead to an early concession to Civac. That would be boring."

While I do think that he would not want that the others concede that of course is not his decision and when he himself does not believe that he can win against civac it stands to reason that the players should be informed that no one believes he can win against civac and none of those realistically in a position want to play on.

Please let me know if I missed something / you interpret this differently.

I think you need to explictly ask Jowy. He's lost a couple of cities, but I'd still think I had a chance in his position. He only needs a mistake from Amica to kill his stack and then devour him (with Lewwyn's help...)
