I aree that WAKE and UNDERTAKER are kind of similar and hard to distinguish. I am, however a bit surprised that CODE is strongly favoured over (x) RAY which looks like a much more straightforward connection to me as to find out if the patient is in risk of cardiac arrest.

Hmm.  A chest X-RAY is definitely a thing, and worth considering. I don't know if they can be used to look at heart conditions, but I believe that they can be used to look at lungs (I think "shadow on the lung" was a sign of potential cancer, and I think that was on an x-ray), so can be used for some soft-tissue analysis, although they may have been superseded by other methods now.

So now I'm a little torn between CODE and RAY - but I'm going to stick with my gut reaction, with yells of "CODE RED" or "CODE BLUE" followed by teams of heroic and suspiciously well-groomed doctors rushing into action with crash carts ...

I also favor CODE. I've heard people refer to someone who needs the crash cart as having coded.

CODE and RAY is fine with me. I think that NEEDLE was an accetable grey word so that we should be able to catch up later.
