Played and sent.
I really hate to do this, but without spoiling anything in particular, I wonder if the distances in this game align with what others were imagining? Again, trying to minimise spoilers, but I've met at least one player and there's roughly space for one city between myself and them which, given the easy access FFH2 has to 3-movers (and more - 4-movers with one promotion or summons) feels extremely claustrophobic.
If no one else takes the same viewpoint, I'm happy to play on, though.

I appreciate your point, but in light of the setup process we've had and the work that naufragar evidently put in I'd rather play it out. and if it ends very quickly we can move on to a new game.

Yeah, game too fast-paced is a problem that solves itself in short order. If it's a problem let's just use this as practice for a larger map.

All good, let's play it out. Apologies all.
On a separate note, I'm travelling for work tomorrow, somewhat unplanned. I've yet to decide if I'll take this laptop also - it might be too heavy to carry with all my other gear. If so, unfortunately I won't be able to hit my turn window tomorrow. Sorry!

Played and sent. Note that I don't think I'll be able to play morning turns for the next couple of days as I have been doing, so will be back in what I believe is Brian's normal slot of early evening UTC.

I'll be away from home between Friday and Saturday, so unlikely to play any turns during those days. Sorry for the delay.

Can’t play turn today. Having some issues with my old laptop, should be able to play normally tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

Brian should be back today and able to play, so please make sure that he gets a copy of the turn. Feel free to send me copy as a backup, but I'm at a family do this afternoon, so if I end up playing it could be slightly delayed.
