So...I played 25BC...whatever turn # that is. Some encouraging things and some disturbing.

When I loaded up somebody had surpassed me so I was in sole #2 spot for GNP. After I ended turn I was in #1 spot though. I am tied for 4th in score with Nakor after ending turn and most of my #'s are pretty darn good.

The bad thing is that Babylon whipped a ton of units and it looks like it's HA's that he whipped. I have some serious building to do. I'll get some more pics up probably tonight or tomorrow morning.

Just expanding and building infra.
I think I'll have enough units to keep Ruff honest and my border with TRD is safe and secure.

Not entirely sure at the moment. What I had hoped my plans to be I don't think I can follow through. If your northern border is safe and secure than TRD is whipping HA's to come after me. Obviously not good. So as much as I'd like to stay at peace, I'm not sure I'll last if I don't prepare.

Hello,

I'm just wondering if I need to worry now that your whipping out HA's. There's no need to go that route. I'll be prepared for it and at the end of the day it will just suck both of us dry.

I hate that this sounds so much like an ultimatum but I have a request for you.

Please either:

A. Don't tell Nakor or Seven what you see in my territory.

or

B. Stop scouting it.

I think I owe you an apology already. I did tell Nakor. Here's what I told him when he asked what my plans were:

So at the least Nakor is aware you have HA's. I'm happy to refrain from telling Seven about them though and promise not to mention anything about your builds/land to anybody from here on out. And happy to keep this confidential as long as you keep the same courtesy.

Based on this little bit I think Ruff and TRD are planning a take down of Nakor or Seven, though Seven doesn't make too much sense. I think Seven might be trying to work with Nakor to hit Ruff so maybe that's why TRD doesn't want Seven informed. If he really is not heading for me than I should be in a pretty good position for the time being.

OK so...I've got some time so took some pics of my cities. I should be able to get more up tomorrow if anybody wants to see something specific let me know.

T114 - Charlottetown:

After the galley, I'm really not sure yet. Probably a military unit but I will re-evaluate after next turn.

T114 - Fredricton:

Got a few more turns for this to complete. I'll have the tile that currently says 1T Farm on it finished by the time it can be worked.

T114 - Halifax:

After this Trireme tracks down and kills that damn barb galley I'll probably have to pump out a couple of quick workboats as I think both will be pillaged before I can kill it.

T114 - Montreal:

After the Barracks I think I'll pump a Settler out. Should only take 5 turns I think and then from there it will probably pump military.

T114 - Niagara Falls:

The Barracks just completed here while growing to size 6. I will have that mine done this turn so I'll probably start a settler here as I won't have any improvements done in time before growing to size 7. Should be done reasonably fast as I'll get a chop in it so maybe 3 turns. That will probably found the fish/pigs city to it's NE.

T114 - Ottawa:

Seeing as I complete currency next turn (along with growing to size 4) I'll probably hold off on 2-pop whipping the library until I'm ready to turn on research next. Should be a few turns as I owe Seven 150 gold now .

T114 - Quebec City:

I'm going to be soon short on workers and this city will need a lot of work to become any good. So I've got a worker mining and I'm going to chop that forest and work the mine to get another worker out of here before it gets to size 2. The rest of the time I'll need the workers roading to my pink dot as TRD has a city close to there.

T114 - St. John's:

At first I thought that barb galley was going to terrorize St. John's and get it off to a slow start but I was wrong. St. John's will slow build that workboat while growing. It will work the crabs, cottage and then horses and mine until I've got it complete. From there it's whip a Forge, and then build a library while growing. The 2 forests left I think I might chop into a Trading Post to help encourage growth (probably before the Forge).

T114 - Demographics:

So there's been some definite improvement here lately. I'm curious to see what currency will do for me.

No they definitely concern me. I've decided to delay atleast 1 Settler to get a couple more units out. My overflow from Currency will net me Archery and next up is Construction. So I'm hoping I'll get to atleast close to the 4th power soon.

I got a response back from TRD just basically saying not to worry about telling Nakor and that he'll keep stuff confidential. I'm not really sure I buy the whole thing that he'll attack Nakor and/or Seven. It just doesn't make any sense. Both have relatively strong power (atleast compared to me), Seven isn't a neighbour and I'm a backward weaker neighbour. Anyways I'm working out how best to try and dissuade him. It's probably best to get a bunch of Archer's and Spears ready. I'll have Machinery in 10 turns as well which will be a huge help. My GE should be done in 9 so machinery in 10, so long as I don't get an extremely low prophet due to Moai. I do want one just not right now. I really need the GE for Machinery. Pics to come later.
