Actually, I'm very much looking forward to playing Plako's excellent map as a single player always war. I'll probably play a couple notches below my usual difficulty due the AI's refusal to fight each other in always war. I feel plako's map deserves more exploration than we were able to give it.

Ginger Eagle, want to turn this into an impromtu adventure? Maybe I'll even post something on the general forum about it... Plako, any problem with that idea?

The AI refuses to fight each other because they are not at war with each other. AW only creates a state of war between the player and AIs. If you wanted a "true" AW then you'd have to change things in the WB, but that would only result in the AIs beating each other up and making it easy for you.

Right. I'm thinking of an always war dogpile like Adventure 14. All AI's aganst the player. Likely keep the 'no entering AI culture before 1000BC' rule too. Warrior chokes suck, right?

Dazed you want to do it? We could each play our own civ, or all play greece. whatdya think?

Interesting concept there .. we all play the same civ/leader combo on solo, staying on our own mountain-side to avoid antagonising the AIs until at least 1000BC.

so I guess we start new threads within this sub-section so lurkers can watch our progress

I'm trying to run it as a new Adventure for anyone to play... as greece. :neenernee

I'm a noob at adventures... so I don't really know the scoring rules. If T-hawk or others want it run without scoring, it's still there to play thru as a single player game.

Of course we'd both have a slight advantage playing Greece as we both scouted that area to varying degrees, but others could spoil themselves by reading our threads first. You know plako has posted the map [in the map/lurker thread], I've already downloaded it, but resisted looking at it ... so far

I've not played an adventure either, so no idea about the scoring

Lol. Yeah, in single player the possibilities for cheating are basically unlimited. play for fun.
