Give us a teaser as to what you think will happen with the self-destructiveness!

Well, in light of that comment, I'm gonna say that zak's role claim is legit and scooter's a wolf. Just so we don't have everybody betting on the same horse

<snip> part that didnt make sense <snip>
Pindicator, rowain pointed out that silvers would die in a very public manner if they revealed themselves.
I have no idea on scooter maybe he was succeptible and got turned by the fat ones.
Also - i was asking about the power of the masons - it was just demonstrated well - if you are partnered with a well respected, no confirmed (read: dead) villager, his suspect list looks pretty powerful to reveal! Serdoa, Injera, Sareln on the list! what do you guys think?
I wonder why Bigger hasnt posted yet - I guess he's trying to find some way to wiggle out of his situation.

zakalwe has a compelling argument that Rowain's pack might have tried to kill him, inferred that he was an alpha and proceeded to go all out on him (knowing that alphas are immune to night kills). But given that Rowain's pack knew about the existence of silverbloods, I think this argument is shot down easily.
Rowain, why did you decide to go after zakalwe? Even if he hung, the evidence that he can scry would point strongly at you. Also, did you know about his pack or not? The role PM seems to be a little unclear on that. I guess you shouldn't answer that yet, as we don't know if you actually did scry him or not.

Hm how to proceed from here.
Seems clear to me that wolf-Bigger and his pack loose the game if thestick is innocent, so I'd probably believe that thestick is best lynch after Zakalwe. Also players could get their head out of metagame speculation and just use old-fashioned scumdars to assess whether thestick makes sense as Rowain packmate.
Assume Bigger is genuine, we have had a wolf-wolf kill and marvelous seer-play and still are not assured victory.
If there is a second sleeper who turned, we will almost surely lose:
6-2-1-1 now.
Zaklynch: 6-2-1 (or 6-1-1-1)
Nighkills: 4-2-1 (Possibly 3-1-1-1, I'll just call that a loss)
Thesticklynch: 4-1-1 or 4-2
Nightkill(s): 2-1-1 or 3-2.
Mislynch, say Bigger, and 1-1-1 or 2-2, probably lose
No sleeper, Bigger genuine:
Say 7-1-1-1 now. (Villagers, tall, short, fat)
Lynch Zak today for 7-1-1.
Max 2 nightkills makes 5-1-1.
Lynch thestick for 5-1.
Nightkill 4-1.
Now Bigger is probably mislynched, 3-1
Nightkill 2-1. Find the last wolf or die.
Bigger last alpha, no sleeper:
Well, we win after lynching 3 wolves in a row and then every kill has been from silver blood or wolf-wolf action. Go village.

Well Molach you're not really considering what happens if the wolfs night kill each other instead of villagers. That throws everything on its head. I know all the current roles and players and I STILL can't extrapolate what is most likely to happen.

Yeah the main drawback to high power games like this one is vanilla villagers can feel useless if everything gets decided by night actions, so I can see where Ichabod is coming from (although I personally don't mind as much.) But that's why I have been tending to use roles that provide soft rather than hard evidence.
btw I feel like running WW14, I have a few themes in mind:
A Game of Thrones
Diablo
Weird roles (expect post restrictions and the unexpected)
I'm also trying to figure out how to make a "standard werewolf" setup that avoids the things usually complained about as un-fun, but it strikes me that working this one out might be better as a community project and that would help people who want to GM in future. as I understand it the main issues are
1) Too many hard alignment confirms due to power roles isn't fun for either village or wolves
2) Being perceived as a good player has a negative feedback result of getting nightkilled and PR scanned a lot

uberfish if you GM I'll happily play. IMO your last game (WW11) was as well balanced and fun as it can get with roles. It was for me the best one so far. So if you are looking for a standard use this game.
Alternatly one could reduce roles to an absolute minimum. (example 1 limited shot Baner and thats it).
uberfish Wrote:1) Too many hard alignment confirms due to power roles isn't fun for either village or wolves Agreed. Thats why masons were neutered a bit. Now MNG is a confirmed villlager and as that a must kill which is always extremly bad for wolves.
uberfish Wrote:2) Being perceived as a good player has a negative feedback result of getting nightkilled and PR scanned a lot Nothing to help that.

#2 I think is difficult to overcome unless we do a pseudonym game.
#1 Is something I tried to alleviate actually. More to the point I attempted to eliminate role claiming... though again everyone will have to wait to see what actually happened here.
