novice, did you set yourself up to be lynched to buy serdoa deep cover? Pretty clever if you did People might suspect you lynching teammates but you being a wolf fits in nicely enough with expectations that they wouldn't question serdoa finding you out.
And then having him be role-blocked thereafter -- I didn't think of it until jkaen brought it up. I can see that as being something that was needed to explain Serdoa not giving any reads after, especially since there seem to be mindworms and villagers and NAPers wouldn't just be able to safely claim that so-and-so is a villager because they aren't NAP.
Yes, it's a little far fetched. But after last game...

I think I'm particularly glad I'm just watching this one - I'm kinda out of the loop coz I'm more than a bit busy (and hence not playing) but it feels like even if I was fully plugged in I'd be all at sea if I was trying to be a villager
Besides, when spectating I always support the Wolf side ...

Bob or Lew is almost definitely scum but probably not both, unless Bob suddenly took a suck pill.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

zakalwe Wrote:I see the meta reasons for suspecting Lewwyn, but he really reads as innocent today. He seems to be stretching a little at times, but not as if he's trying to mislead us. More like a villager who really knows he's right and is trying hard to convince his peers.
I think we should give him more time, and see if Marr does in fact show up. A NAP Marr would not automatically clear Lewwyn, but it would certainly be cause for a reevaluation.
I would spam "lych Zak!" over and over again. No way Zak would say lewwyn is a good boy when lewwyn is not doing anything (this goes against how lewwyn players). Zak is now #1. Lewwyn might just not be getting angry anymore for playing a lot but Zak has made a statement that makes no sense.

Serdoa Wrote:Molach, why would have Bigger a say in this if this if your private forum, your own idea? I can't see anything in the rules which in the slightest would require that.
I think Bigger made the right call in forbidding publishing a link to another forum. That would be out-of-thread communication (in this case from the past to the present).
As is, Molach's diary can be fake. If he can produce a link though, that's not fakeable and I would actually say that's a modkillable offense.
I have to run.

I don't like the diary thing for future games - its too close to a confirm even if it can be faked and the wolves can do it. Wolves have enough work keeping their private thread and the main thread straight. I mean in my mind Molach wasn't especially suspicious but I'd still avoid it for the future.
Lewwyn obviously is not scum now that we can explain his horrendous play. I still like Zak most though Selrahc is a reasonable target. Zak might be busy but it doesn't explain the extent that he's mailing it in the few times he does post - i.e. uber's quote above.

Hmm, how do you explain his horrendous play?

Suppose I made about 7 leaps in logic in my own head there that I didn't explain, good thing I'm not playing. He skimmed his role pm, saw villager again, got pissed off which we can tell by the fact that he missed his fake claim and that impacted his play. I'd also offer that his early death in his last game had him deciding he wanted to stay alive a bit longer and hence stay suspicious early on.
I could be wrong of course, I'm often wrong about Lewwyn - he's my blind spot. But I think he's probably a villager with a possibility of lyncher.

well, that was mardoc's call. Molach asked, I said "im not really sure, hold on" and asked Mardoc. But I think you're right, although a wolf COULD make another private forum, as Gaspar points out it is a lot of work that most wolves wouldnt be willing to do, so it does make you lean village and probably unfairly.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
