Okay, my theory in round 1 was this:

DavidC clued "Fischer" but only listed 1 word as being associated with it, when by all rights there SHOULD have been more words to pair with it if those had been our words:
*Match - would go with "chess match" - so, not our word. Keep this in mind in the future.
*Possibly "Olympian" - chess olympiads - Fischer was basically a chess Olympian. So PROBABLY not a word of ours.

That rules out two words, I think. But sadly, this theory doesn't seem to help us much this round.

Ink letter, definitely. Ink spot, yes. But I actually like ink cloud (think squid) over ink mark.
