Let me begin by apologizing for what I imagine was a thoroughly frustrating game for the Blue team, and congratulating you for doing the best you could throughout. I tried to be far too clever for my own good, then doubled down for no good reason. I wrote my thoughts down at the time, and present them now with minimal revision
Start of Turn 1: I wanted to clue Plastic, Square, Block, and Carrot with Dice 4, but I realized that Ivory would be a dangerous and potentially early pitfall. I was fairly confident that once Ivory was revealed, it would be fairly straightforward. That left five words that might be possible to clue together, except I couldn't think of any Swiss princesses starring in Shakespeare, and getting too ambitious might misfire with Hollywood or Germany. I wanted to start with Elizabeth 2, but couldn't think of any Swiss composers or classical musicians to link Alps with Conductor/Flute. There was also the risk of any Swiss-leaning clue being associated with the assassin, Chocolate. Instead, I decided to go with the slightly more tenuous Genevieve 3, hoping that it sounded like both a princess from Shakespeare (which it isn't), or the etymological root for Geneva Switzerland (which it also isn't). Gotta love this game sometimes. The upside is that the only likely mistake would be Germany, and if I led with it, that shouldn't be an issue. I wish I could have clued Geneva directly as a straight shot to Alps and a plausible Shakespearean princess, but alas, Chocolate.
End of Turn 1: Well that went straight off the rails

. Bob and Dp seemed to be following my reasoning to Shakespeare and Princess, but rho saw a (completely unintended) link to Hollywood and Comic, and also knew that Genevieve is a modern French name, with no basis for being a Shakespearean character at all (which, again, is true). To make matters worse, no one brought up Alps at all as where someone named Genevieve might be from, so it was back to the drawing board for me.
Start of Turn 2: Dave didn't take Ivory off the board, so I began searching for another 4-word clue to make up for lost tempo. I saw Parade 4 (Conductor, Flute, Square, and Block) as a viable clue with the potential error of Beat. I thought about extending the clue to 5 to count Princess, but I thought that might lead you to thinking too broadly and hitting other gray words over multiple turns. I don't see any easy ways for Dave to finish in fewer than 3 turns, Aztec is pretty tricky for him to include with other words while avoiding Chocolate.
End of Turn 2: Turns out I had overlooked Staff completely (I'm used to thinking of them as batons, but staff should definitely have caught my attention). That said, the team looks likely to pick up 3 words in total (no one mentioned parade blocks, but perhaps that's more in the realm of jargon). I'm still going to need 3 rounds from here to make this work, but I'm struggling to see how Dave can end in 2.
Start of Turn 3: Luckily, Dave went for a 2-word clue and only hit 1, and even though Skyscraper will be fairly obvious next round, it will at least cost them an action. This gave me the option to slow down with a 2-word clue of my own, intending for the team to pick up Flute as well. I was still holding out hope that someone would revisit Genevieve, but I realized that I would have to put heavier emphasis on Alps for it to be noticed. I also wanted to hold out hope for a Dice 3 clue picking up Plastic/Block/Carrot, but I couldn't think of any other connections to Alps beyond Skis 2.
End of Turn 3: Thankfully, this round worked out as intended. Red still has the initiative, but if they stumble, there might be an opening. I spent a long time trying to think of a way to clue 3 and hope the team goes back to Princess, but I think it'll have to be two 2-rounders. Carrot without Chocolate needs to be fairly precise.
Start of Turn 4: Red team threw us a lifeline here with pjabrony's prompt to Dave. Now he's forced to make a 2-word clue for Aztec and Comic, which I can't think of for the life of me. Some kind of superhero, maybe? The downside is that I'm forced to leave Princess unclued, which means aiming for Carrot/Block. After trying and failing to think of food featuring diced carrots, I decided to try and leverage something rho said earlier, knowing that Genevieve is a modern French name. I'm making a bit of a leap of faith here, but if he's French, he should know what mirepoix is: roughly chopped carrots, onions, and celery used as a starting point for many sauces, soups, and braises. Blocks of Carrots, or Carrots used as a building Block. I could have still gone for Dice 2, but I'm trying to avoid anything that could remotely point back to entertainment and Comic - I'm afraid that they're still considering it for Genevieve.
End of Turn 4: I've misjudged the situation again. I'm not entirely sure what would have been a better alternative: Chopping 2 risks Aztec, another cooking term for blocks of vegetables would have been equally arcane, and I'm drawing a blank on what other characteristics of carrots I could try to associate from. Frustrating round for all of us.
Start of Turn 5: At least the team made a note of Carrot (thank god they guessed correctly that mirepoix is savory, not sweet), which leaves a relatively straightforward set of 3 in Princess, Shakespeare, and Block. With Aztec off the board, Beheading 3 seems unlikely to miss.
