Which one? Batavia? I was expecting you to railroad up to it and blast it over with cannons, but you probably weren't ready for another couple of turns.

yes - I would have hit it next turn. Brought the defenses down with frigates and hit it with collateral. Died a lot on machineguns, but killed them off eventually.

Then I would have gotten a stack of infantry and cavalry in the face, of course...
