Out of the remaining players, neither of the known wolves mention Ichabold, Serdoa, Scooter, Mardoc

No-PMs is such a hard rule for the village. I'd love to be able to talk with someone without having to worry about the content and who's going to hear it.
And it certainly adds to the feeling of "There's no one I can trust".

Guess no PMs does make it more interesting for the lurkers. It would be cool if the wolves could post a chat dump at the end of this too, to show what they were talking about in private

Bruindane comments about novice are indeed pretty strange... First he defends him saying that he was nominated by villagers. Then he accuses him of being the void wolf and quickly retracts...
Even Selrahc attacked novice at some point...

What I noticed is that neither one seems to have offered up a 'Wolf - Bruindane especially. This leads me to believe zakalwe is, in fact, innocent after all, as I can't really see novice being a 'Wolf, and I can't see Bruindane changing his strategy of offering up a different Villager each time, either. What little we have on Selrahc seems to indicate the same pattern. What I cannot seem to decide on is the Mayor vote - would Bruindane have attempted to elect a 'Wolf, or did he elect a Villager the first time (Meiz) as well as the second time (Rowain)? That's the key piece of the puzzle right now, as I don't believe both Meiz and Jkaen are 'Wolves.
I've written off Mardoc as a Villager for so long it's hard to change my mind about it, but his voting pattern definitely makes him stand out - something you wouldn't want to do as a 'Wolf. I still think he's a Villager - the most convincing piece being his 5-Wolf theory which, so far, hasn't shown any 'Wolves to my knowledge - but, again, his voting pattern sticks out as being otherwise. I note it mostly because it compares so well with Jkaen - although the attitude between the two is a stark contrast.
In hindsight, one of our big mistakes was eliminating MJW (ya that one) instead of Cull - although there was no way to know that at the time. The biggest mistake I can remember is my own (is that ironic? ) - breaking the 3-way tie and lynching fire&ice. I'm still kicking myself over that one. Of course, we don't know if the overall outcome (Villager) would have been any different, and fire&ice probably would have gotten himself modkilled anyway, so I guess in a way I did the Village a favor, but overall I'm not proud of how it went down. Many people worked hard to set up an elaborate showdown, and I jumped in at the last second and kicked it all to pieces. It was unintentional, I assure you, but still disappointing. I suppose there's no sense griping about it now. I just would have liked to have played better during this game, although I do feel I've improved over last game.

And I do feel bad about this. When I signed up, I really didn't understand the time commitment it would take. I don't see how anybody played this with PMs/emails enabled.
I would probably sign up to play again because I've had a good time, but it is a crazy endeavor. I've managed to read every word of the thread, but about the best I can offer the village is to hopefully be persuaded by the right argument put forward by you guys. I just feel everything is so tangential all the time. I am never sure of anything.
That said, I don't know how much use I would be even if I had time. I read over the Day 1 vote log and didn't see anything notable.

I think GES is suspicious... He hasn't said much at all. And before you say he's been on vacation... what better excuse? Last game Sunrise was the seer and he was gone for a while. It's not impossible that RL events are masking wolfish hiding. Also, isn't he a lawyer? He hasn't talked anyone into or out of anything. He reminds me of Illios.
We should lynch GES or Jkaen tomorrow.

Speak of the Devil! I cross-posted with him! But this is exactly the type of post that Illios used to hide himself. Plus he responded so quickly to Roland! definitely paying attention to the thread no?

By the by, I just accidentally clicked on the WW lurker thread. Navigated away before seeing anything.

Having now played both sides of the coin, I'm honestly not sure which is more time consuming. I'd say with PMs, but that's taking into consideration I didn't do anything like I did this game with respect to voting logs. (Gods, what an endeavor that's turned out to be - Day 1 was easily 3 hours.)
Also, don't sweat your participation. Keeping up with the thread is a challenge all its own. I only mention you because you've been so quiet. You'd be the perfect 'Wold sleeper agent. I doubt you are though.

It can be a hell of a lot of fun. As for being "sure" of anything, I think almost all of us (Villagers) feel about the same. It's difficult to be "sure" of anything, but sometimes things are more obvious than others. I'm not finding myself particularly strong at this game, in all honesty, although with this being only my 2nd game maybe it's a bit early to tell. Doing the voting records has helped open my eyes a bit to potential suspects, so that's something to keep in mind going forward - at least for myself.

Don't worry about it. I've dedicated far more time to this game than I care to admit, even to myself, and even I missed a whole slew of things that only showed up while doing the records. Going back through to find those eye-openers, on the other hand, has proven a challenge - and I wrote them! Happens to us all.
