It basically is a speedbump (at least that's how I've seen it for some time). It makes the first advanced building you build actually cost more (and requires an extra turn to build) which in theory makes one pause before going into advanced buildings and consider going into military or settlers, which actually probably isn't a big enough speedbump given the difference in abilities of a race that can build advanced buildings, and a race that cannot.

The role of the Builder's Hall is to provide a "one building" plce in the building tree where we can restrict which races can and cannot build all the buildings after it. The building restriction table is limited to 7 buildings/race which wouldn't be enough otherwise.

I got a chance to buy an artifact with Pandora's Box, and I'm loving the effect : ) Great idea adding it!

I found an oddity.  I won an artifact from a battle with an enemy hero, the "Phantom Thief Wand", which has an ability named "Phantom Warriors x3Haste", with "Haste, doubles attacks" as the next ability.  In other words, "Haste" appears twice, on its own and appended to the previous bound spell.  I'll attach a screenshot.

Unfixable, some spell names are longer than the space available for storing them to displaying them on items. It's a fixed size array with exactly 20 characters per line, any text exceeding it will be cut, including the "end of string" character, thus it'll show the next line there as well.

Ha. Understood. Thanks!

I love the idea of pandora's box. A very chaotic and unique effect the game didn't have before, way better than any dumb suggestions I made smile

SP displays how much skill you are gaining per turn (1 digit accuracy), RP displays how many turns to finish research.

Good idea but a little bit confusing.
Needed 'Skill Research Points' are calculated by 2x'Casting Skill'+1?
IMHO it would be easier to understand if you show the player the 'actual reached Skill Research Points' - 'needed Skill Research Points' *(-1).
The player can see how many 'Skill Research Points' he need for a new SP then.

Most of the time I'm making more than 1 new casting skill a turn, in which case that doesn't contain the information I need.

I agree with Seravy here. Seeing how many skill points I'm gaining per turn is more informative than seeing how many skill points remain for the next point.
