[PB78] Underdogs and undercats: The Mrrshan warlords visit the world of Civ IV

I'd ask but there is a problem with the game and the pbspy controls don't work. Zulan said it wasn't trivial and would look into it eventually but it's unclear if and when it will be solved.

We may not be doing too well with the winning prospects but we definitely killing it in the drama department. Need to wait for Magic to log in, but got a +32 score increase which can only be one thing... shades

Looks like Magic will play at the very end of the timer which is my evening and I’ll have a lot of planning to do this turn which I won’t be able to then. And I can’t do it now because I need to have a look at the game and we are in a war split.

To help with this, can I ask a lurker to log in on my behalf and take a few screenshots? Otherwise the game will probably end up delayed by a day and I don’t want the others wondering what is going on.

I assume the login need and score increase is because you have flipped the barb city? Your "war" is not hot, right? Meaning, it's scout movement?

I think in that case it should be fine to login quickly and take pictures. Could always just alert MS that you needed to login, but you did not move any units.

Yes, I declared to get the scout through his land since his borders extend sea to sea and I want to get the scout home asap to fog bust. We don't have any other units near each other's cities.

Ok - I'll PM him that lurkers said it's ok to log in just to have a look because the timer is running out and that I didn't move anything. Thank you.

As a pre-update, I did as much as I could in theory and the conclusion was that even with Rivet our foodhammer situation is abysmal. For example if I build a settler the earliest I can get it out is T68, and Willow will have about 100 hammers' worth of units until then, including the chops.

Well, just as I was about to send him a PM he logged in so it's all good.

FWIW, in any turn-split you're free to negotiate with the other party to log in for screenshots and the like. Especially in a scouting war it's very likely to be granted.

We flipped the barb city and all 3 barbs attacked and died without pillaging anything further so that's the good news. However things are far from rosy as Magic killed our scout, Gav is settling towards us, and the next wave of barbs is coming. It's T50 and between the two cities we have a MfG of 4, food surplus of 8, and not many prospects to improve them.

The archer won steady at 99.9% and 100% against the barbs, but the warrior barely won at 87.8% and was at 4hp, so it's healing in the city now. I hope the barbs don't go for the gems as we can't defend them effectively at the moment, and we'd also lose the rails.  I'm doing what I can but everything is desperate and I'm forced into inefficiency just to deal with the emergencies, which is a bad place to be in.

I'm sorry to do it Gav, it just has to be done.

Dangerous.
I can't really fault you for that - expecially against Gav, but still, a dangerous move.
What do you do, when Gav doesnt make peace after that ?

Is there already an archer in the old capital ? Regardless, I would send a unit to observe the city.

And grats to the old barb city, I think I forgot to write something about that.
