CIV VI PBEM

That's a bit of a relief. I have vague recollections of one of the prior PBEMs getting messed up by an update and didn't want to wind up in a restart situation here.

Tested out the Grand Master's Chapel with the same result. The bug seems to only apply to faith purchases already available and not the future ability to purchase. Loaded a PBEM15 save where I already had the Chapel and could not buy units, built in a save where it was available and it worked as it should. I don't see any real impact in this game and we can continue with the current version.

Hey chappies - players and lurkers. Posting here since I think most Civ VI interest on the forum is concentrated here.

Starting Friday I'm going to be on the road more or less continuously - one final two week grand tour of Korea, followed by moving back to the States and setting up in my own apartment. Basically, for a month, minimum, I'm going to be having a hard time making my game commitments.

For this PBEM, I'm hopeful that one of my dedlurkers can cover, as we've done in the past. The trick is I'm also in another random PYDT turn, Coronapalooza, that I signed up for in March on a whim. I'd hate to abandon that game, and here's why: I'm in the middle of a fantastic, runaway snowball. I can PM you the details if you're interested, but suffice to say due to good luck with barbs, an awesome capital, and not banning the Fertility Rites pantheon, I'm to 4 cities with more on the way and some of my opponents are still on one. I'd love anyone interested to sub in for that game and shepherd things along for the next 40 turns or so. Message me if you're interested! There'll be lots of fun things for you to do!

Howdy folks, I'll be taking over Canada for Chevalier until he has time to play again. I've been dedlurking and am unspoiled. I am operating on US eastern time, so the timing of when turns are played is going to change a bit, we'll see exactly how that shakes out.
