both resist elements and elemental armor enchantments exists on the "Ohm Shield" artifact and I think resist element can be removed since it is useless if you have elemental armor as far as I know.
That too, also the two spells are cumulative (16 total) and it's intended for flavor. (Ohm = measurement unit for resistance in physics so the shield has resistance spells)
There was a video by Sapher where he used the Ohm item to withstand the bolts from enemy fortress and capture the enemy capital early on the highest difficulty.
As far as items named after physicists go we need Tesla's coil and Fermi's exclusive trinket

maybe it should be mentioned in the manual since in classic master of magic they are not cumulative.

AUTO combat could have keys for options (1,2,3,4..6). Fight with spells = 1 ; Fight 1 turn without spells = 3 etc. So i can press A1, all time by default :-P
Engineer building road need to press E and then confirm with mouse click on OK (or press O button that is far away from E).
When im melding Sprit to Node i dont need to confirm the Meld. Building roads with popup monit each time to confirm the process is annoying. It should be just Build (E) thats it, engineer building road (i dont care if its 2 or 3 turns, with 10x cities i dont even care whats build by Grand Vizier, but somehow i need to approve each road building time).
Chancellor dont dispaly anything if there was no events. Cant be add monit "No events"?
Also i have Chaos Conjuction end monit, but it was not dispaly by Channcelor. Same when local merchant donate 3k to my kingdom (lol hows he so rich? )
I rebind OK buttons like that: Army ok = A, City ok = C, Wizards ok = Z
its very nice to quickly press CC to show and close the city panel, without having to press ESC, or click anything with mouse.
I cannot do the same with Spellbook which would be very handy. Can be add Spellbook OK to key.ini ?
as above can the same behavior be added to Info panels? So I can press F1 to see surveyor and close the monit. without pressing another button.
I cannot use mouse scroll for transmute gold to mana. Which would be handy.
When im adjusting the Magic, Could the mouse scroll become active when mouse coursor is also on the beige decorative frame?
I instinctively putting coursor away from the center, to not obstruct the view.
Could the grid in combat be less thick? the grid mesh on overland map is perfect.

The combat grid is already only 1 pixel thick. However, with dotted lines it looks less bold and much calmer. Just swap the file in the Data folder for the attached one...

Confirmed, staffdown2 had a typo where the game read the data.
