Looks like Catwalk is suspicious of me as well. Imagine I edited your name next to scooters in the above post:neenernee.

Unvote [strike]Catwalk.[/strike]
He's reading less wolfish today.
Maybe the Wolves are taking more of a hands off approach to him and his natural style is reasserting. But I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
Mardoc Wrote:Or I could get mad about having more time to spend with my PBEMs, if you decide to lynch a weak villager. But I'm not sure that would hurt the village, really, except in the sense of a wasted day. I thought my extensive lurking might give me hints as to what to look for, but it's not helping so far. None of my gambits are working, probably because people know better than to follow my lead
Mardoc's "Complete Capitulation" stratagem isn't impressing me. I think it's mildly wolfish, but that might just be because I find it annoying.

@slowcheetah, well I started out just posting like I would on the Elemental forums, where we co-collaborate on ideas in order to develop a subtle yet effective design suggestion.
Taking other people's ideas and making small tweaks, combined with a few of my own original ideas in order to tie all the tweaks together, is often how I mod as well.
However, my (filler posts/low content posts/w/e) ended up getting me sent quickly to the chopping block (or at least a number of votes), so like I said before I will now try the minimalist approach ... so that hopefully future posts will be more 'meaningful.'
That being said, if I 'feel' like certain players are Werewolf or Villager, and I feel mentioning such is helpful and/or necessary, I may post about it. Call it a read if you will. But I try to act more intuitively rather than going solely going on the data available.
That being said, I will always carefully consider the data that is presented to me by other players, and incorporate that into my own intuition.

slowcheetah Wrote:Finally, addressing scooters concern on my lack of posting:
I'm new to the game and relatively new to the forums, I didn't want to take the lead and didn't have much of a read on people earlier. I didn't really want to cause too much damage and lead people off on complete tangents due to an inaccurate reading of the situation. I also seem to have the 'newbie out of jail free card' so I felt relatively safe not posting very much and having my vote be for a purely RP random reason (Rowain for different religion). I'm going to scratch slowcheetah from my list of suspects for now. Playing like a pussy is very much in character for him :neenernee
But the newbie get-out-of-hanging card isn't worth much, be careful relying on that. If suspicion sticks to you on day 1, it will likely follow you. If not for my personal knowledge of you from Civ, I'd probably be gunning for you on day 2.

One thing that struck me about Lewwyn's arguments earlier: He stated that he has started unvoting because that's how he's required to do on the TW Mafia forum where he's innocent. First off, we don't know if he's innocent there. Secondly, can't he simply unvote and vote someone else right away if he feels that strongly about unvoting? Goes without saying that this is just yet another random crazy idea which will make Lewwyn flip, but I thought it worth commenting on. Would be hilarious if the change in style is caused by him being a wolf in both games

I was only slightly relying on the hanging card in order to get up to speed with what was going on, but if you do still have your suspicions then you probably shouldn't let 'personal knowledge' interfere with your gunning:neenernee

Sorry about the double post I clicked submit before dealing with Tasunke's reply
I still feel you are suspicious because 'feelings' are a pretty much meaningless argument. Sure you can have intuition but the idea is to get the village to come to a consensus, blithely stating feelings isn't going to convince everybody. If you have a feeling it has almost certainly come from this thread. Whose argument has it come from?
Having said this you do seem to be trying to urge the village to come to a consensus on Cyneheard, but you posted no argument for choosing him just his name? So why should that increase people's desire to vote for him.

Catwalk Wrote:I think voting for someone who is either quiet or blending in is generally the best day 1 choice. These 4 players match that best IMO:
Mardoc 7: Mostly fluff
Jkaen 6: Quiet as a general strategy
slowcheetah 2: Inactive newbie
Sareln 1: Completely inactive
This needs to be addressed with an apology. I've been rather busy the past several days and even now have a bunch of grading that I need to get done post-haste. Hopefully I'll be able to actively play shortly, but for now I'm just skimming everything as it flashes by in my mailbox.

I don't think Sarlen would lie about grading. I think he would just post BS the other wolfs would tell him to post at this point. That said other wolfs could have told you not to post crossing us up!
I really think Tasunke is acting strangely. But I really can not agrue or switch off cyneheard at this point.
