I haven't seen anything strange coming from Rowain. Anyway, he's lynched like 50% of the first days, so this is probably to be expected. What is interesting is that Rowain wasn't suspected on the early game where he won as a wolf, nor was he suspected when he was scryed and than killed as a wolf (but he was lynched in the first day of that very small game where the village got both wolves).
Do I have a point here? Probably not... But I wouldn't be so sure about things like some are being or trying to appear (probably to give strenght to the argument).
It seems novice won't be lynched. I'm a fool for trying it, because no one will lynch novice on day 1. So, changing my vote appears to be a good idea.
Commodore is a nice target, mostly because he hasn't spoke much. Thing is, I would expect him to post a lot even if he was a wolf, so I don't know what to make of it.
How about add some pressure to Pindicator? His posts are just kind of confirming what others have said. He's new, so maybe he's trying to learn. I don't know. But I think he could hide pretty well with a gentle, friendly, newbie villager look while being a devious wolf inside.
Jkaen also didn't make much sense. Mardoc would be a good target too. MNG fired everyone of my wolf radars, so I think I'm wrong about him. Either way, if he's a wolf, he won't be going very far. It's worth giving him more time, especially because he has a thing for "hanging himself".

Sigh, you're right, Uberfish, about the reasoning issue. Just gives me a headache is all. I need to bone up on the theory in general, it seems. Isn't the meme you're always a warewolf? :neenernee

Not crazy enough to lynch [strike]Ichabod[/strike] on the first day without big leads against him. I think Pindicator seems to be trying to fly under the radar.
Starts with totally random vote.

And now in his latest post says that Commodore's reasons to vote Catwalk are bad, but doesn't want to vote against him simply because he is new. Avoids Rowain wagon because he doesn't know his style, but chooses MNG instead (not knowing his style either). All arguments are based on either "gut" or what the vets are doing. I'm not finding much thoughts behind his votes. Maybe he chose MNG simply to avoid any of the bigger bandwagons? After his vote the votes where:
Commodore (5) - Jkaen, Lewwyn, Mardoc, uberfish, pling
Ichabod (4) - Meiz, novice, Sareln, Tasunke
Rowain (4) - Serdoa, zakalwe, Rowain, Catwalk
Mr. Nice Guy (3) - Injera, Rowain, Pindicator
Tasunke (1) - Mr. Nice Guy
Molach (1) - Bigger
Catwalk (1) - Commodore
pling (1) - pindicator
novice (1) - Ichabod
No vote - Molach

Hah, I love when someone else post the reasons for your vote just after you did it!
Thanks, Meiz!

As an initial joke vote "uberfish is always a wolf" is fine, I wanted to use it myself but got beaten to it. However at this point, when you're under pressure, it just seems ... odd.
Have I misunderstood you? Do you have a rationale beyond that?

Ichabod, some of your thoughts I share. But looking at the post as a whole, it reads incredibly non-commital. And I miss the theme. I don't have the right words in English for it, but ... well, if we would take that post and split it up into 5 posts from 5 different posters it would be exactly the same. I miss reading something from YOU.
Still, I agree with Meiz, going for you on Day1 doesn't seem the best play. And I have to say I still like my vote where it is, on Rowain.
One word to Commodore: I feel he is trying to make all the mistakes we would expect from a new player. Question is only now if he does that on purpose (told by his wolf-leader maybe) or if it is simply because he is indeed a new player. I would give him the benefit of the doubt right now though.

I'm looking forward to spending the weekend talking to myself as the only non-regular Diablo player.
Gaspar: So what do you think about Gaspar?
Gaspar: Dunno, Gaspar's acting like Gaspar?
Gaspar: Yeah, that's a fair point about Gaspar.
Gaspar: He is awfully handsome, isn't he?
Gaspar: Yes, and quite charming as well.
Gaspar: I hear he's hu...
Nevermind.

I like the cases on pindicator and Commodore, actually. Feels a bit bad to pounce on them on day 1, although them being forum veterans makes it feel less bad.
Rowain is reacting a bit oddly to pressure though, and he's a big boy who can handle being lynched.
So Rowain, for now.
I have to run.
