Concordat leader isn't really worth all that much to me. I pretty much just want it for the freebie Acolytes. Acolytes are healers, right? That could be useful for a faction on the defense.

No, your biggest value in voting me in is predictability. Voting Lal is a vote for something random to happen, which might turn out to benefit you, or might not. Voting Mardoc is a vote for Acolytes.

In principle, I'm fine with the idea. In practice, it depends on the details. Why do you need ports, anyway? You can work the coast without them, and leaving that land-sea transition painful would deter both of us from making a military issue out of it.

Without coastal bases I won't be able to improve the coast, get rid of the fungus (I hate fungus) or defend vs Isles.

I am a bloodthirsty powermonger but I have no hostile intentions towards the Pirates. If you wish I'm ready to discuss a NAP so as not to go Maniac-Sareln at each other, but we'd have to settle the coast thing first.
