I guess the overarching point I'm trying to make is that people's standard for "cleared villager" is WAY too low. There's not a player in the thread who is 100% cleared, honestly.

Its been that way for a while now and its why I only play very occasionally.

It irritates me when people start granting others 'cleared' status with nothing solid to back it up. I know many people think I overdo being paranoid in these games, but I'm one of an ever dwindling group who will not 'clear' someone until there is enough for me to be convinced.

hehe. well I learned my lesson. My gut told me novice was scum that whole game, from day 1, but I ignored it in favor of voting patterns. It was very clever, but it will make it harder for scum to do that in future games, I think.

Gaspar the last time I posted something on the line that I thought nearly everyone as not cleared I got vig-shot on night 1 as Village-Baner so be carefull with such gross assumptions

TT's mistrust everryone worked so well that he vig-shot the one player who did his best to save his skin (in the last game vs Lewwyn)

In the end you have to trust somebody and hope you are right. It is the wolves work to get that and the villagers work not to fall into traps.

Yeah, I agree with what you're saying - individually you have to trust someone and TT is definitely over-paranoid. There's a fine line between deciding someone is legit in your head and having it inform your decisions and clearing people completely based on meta-nonsense which we see happen every game.
