Arise, Riders of Rohanna! Ride for Molach! [SPOILERS!]

I don't think Serdoa is out to get you. He would have nothing to gain by doing it. Early war is really costly in FfH, because warriors don't have a counter. The only way he could destroy you is with overwhelming numbers or maybe a lucky HR hut pop and some bought Wolf Riders.

Ohhh... That's a possibility... Goblins upgraded to wolf riders... Maybe that's it...

Bah, orcs are the biggest killjoys of FfH (ok, let's give a shoutout to Illians too). There's more than a 1000 ways which they can screw you. They should be forever banned in every FfH game. Wolf Riders, upgraded or bought, Acheron Priests, completely overpowered warrens (just compare warrens cost to Planar gates cost to see what I'm talking about). It's just too much...

Try to contact Serdoa diplomatically. But you have to be straightforward, otherwise he isn't likely to answer.

Was off doing other stuff for the weekend...
That corn... lol

We're dropping mines all over the place, so, hopefully, that's enough to be able to repel an attack. I'm not sure there's much you can do otherwise... that corn/gold city is really impressive.

How to say this. Yummy, I think, sums it up best.

Except for those damn orcs, leading in score and every category. Except Gnp, that's Sidar.

My scout did his little 3-movement (amazing he is still warcried, what are the odds of that for 30 turns. 20%-ish?)

Oh and he discovered not one, but two copper. One is mined, sadly it might be close to gtAngel. Luckily, I don't care. I guess AI Diplo means not having to say you're sorry.

Pool of tears, just in case I forget:

Next time I dance with scorpions I must remember to purge poison here (missed it in scroll, but it does poison too). And quick heals. +1 happy might be useful down the line. I'm thinking city on plains hill NE of copper.

Here are homelands, workers making the road connection. Will be done in 2 turns, and then city may grow.

Sent a warrior out to scout the city site and build up fortify bonus.
(where is city site? I'm still thinking hill - defense is good. Gonna get me archers in 15 turns or so too...)

Amon:

Warrior also for new city, but can double back in case of problems.

Nothing new here, really. Useless photo.

LOL, I was going to suggest a city on that exact spot! Unfortunately, barb cities are hard to crack in FfH. I'd say do the following: get a spare warrior and fortify him somewhere near the city, trying to bait attacks. That may work and has little cost.

Scouts, report. Report now.

"Nothing much. Yawn. Just another gold. No, two, actually. And some wildlife has moved within striking range

Wonder about this:

Why is there a pasture on the metamagic node?

That desert gold seems like a dungeon pop. No idea about the pasture.

Desert gold is entirely reasonable, I thought... maybe it has to be on a hill, though? I know it's good enough the map generator usually nerfs it by sticking it on a relatively dry tile.

That barb city... yeah, pretty funny. If we don't get in a war first, you might be able to use it to blood some units, though. Unfortunately, it'll put a cramp on our expansion in the meantime.

It just occured to me that it was odd to see two golds side by side. But now that you mentioned it, I remembered: gold doesn't appear naturally in desert tiles, only in desert hill tiles.

Already thinking about NE of bronze, E of plains hill gold as next city....no great food tile till I get AH, but connects bronze for a lot of security. Need more workers, but not too long for next settler to show.
