Oh, that was depressing to return to.

My only real unit is trying to ensure my new city doesn't suffer the same fate at barbarian hands.

So that lovely Kingsport location is nice and all, but this is a tight map. Which means dots! More dots! Lots and lots of dots! Okay stop dots.
Carcosa is probably going to get pulled in one tile east, no need to stick myself out there to get the Thoth and Krill circumcision guillotine treatment. Poking east, that's definitely where I need to be pushing hardest. Flat tundra silver is about as uninspiring as a metal tile can get but its happy and money in the bank. Kadath is 14/70 into a shiny new Maddrassa. ![]()

High and uncanny cliffs surround the bright city, and the trembling winds of Leng will at times sweep down through its stone streets, a carrying high thin chiming sound. Nonetheless the city stands as probably one of the least noisome places in the world, a smaller version Arkham complete with gables and spires. The town's populace is fed by great wheat lands to the northwest and both spices and ivory are traded in Kingsport's busy shops. It is only in the misting Yule time that the place takes on a chill, as cowled and hunched followers of the hoary Nodens make procession down the twilight streets in a festival older than man. Stranger still are the things that caper on the far ruins sometimes seen in dawn's first light.
