Ugh. Not missing any from previous rounds, I don't think, so we can probably get only one. And I don't actually see any that look obvious to me.
You often POINT to things you've found, if others are also looking?
When you SPOT something, you've found it?
The PLATYPUS was found when Australia was explored?

I guess my favorite of those is SPOT, but I could be persuaded otherwise. Especially if it turns out I'm missing an obvious connection somewhere smile

Tough 1-clue. It was probably not intended to be. I think SPOT too. Why not FIND but found? Dunno. But all other word have a less ambiguous 1-clue. After 17 seconds of thought:
Point=dot
Platypus = Australian, beaked.

Interesting twist.

I guess I like spot since if you use the (IMHO less obvious) verb form of the searching meaning (and not as a synonym for "dot") then Found works as a close parallel.

I hope I'm missing something though. I certainly like Spot much better than Platypus though smile

Cross with Molach, lol @ me seeing "dot" as a spot clue and you as a point clue.

I will be [b]very[/u] surprised if the correct clue is Platypus. There seem to be a lot better choices than Found.
