You could prob. do Washington, Revolution, and Fighter fairly safely with "Rebel (3)". Bar, Tap, and Honey fall to "Mead (3)".
Temple, Lab & Crash would be really tough to clue together though. Maybe something like "Scientology (3)", but that's a stretch. 
Oh yeah Lepechaun and GOLDEN are also closely related. I had no idea what you meant by Shillelagh also, which is pretty telling about my knowledge of Irish culture
 (Canadian here; do they sell Honey Smacks there? I'm not really cereal guy, especially the one loaded with sugar.)
I honestly can't remember the last time I saw Honey Smacks sold -- I'm more of a granola / oatmeal person for breakfast. But advertising sure has kept that connection strong; I remember them being sold from when I was a kid.

Smack's honey corn still on sale in Norway. For me honey was a clear 1st choice. Frog would have been 2nd, if there had been one.
