For those curious I have thought about pointing out this would be the perfect opportunity for Charriu and Scooter to go kill Bing and you know make themselves stronger...... I've thought about typing it at least 4 times, but probably won't.

Depending on what SD moves in and what I find my odds I might concede to SD, but only on the condition I get to kill Charriu first. I've been trying to think of options once like 1 more cities are razed and that is the best I've come up with. I have some less extreme proposals in my head depending on exactly what happens.

I mean there is a CHANCE I hold this off, but I don't have the land unit tech parity let alone edge that other clear game leaders have had when they've been dog piled.

I also still have to figure out how I'm arranging troops for this mess. The problem is I have to protect cities on either side of the continent. I did stuff Tank in the middle with a bunch of units that should be able to hold THIS turn and its the only city directly being threatened.

Ah SD you are predictable. I landed my troops in Liverpool Judies in the east BUT NOT my troops in the west. In the east he could have kept his stack across river and in less restrictive terrain. In the west however there is 1 tile he can hit my city from, which IF I hit with my cats and then attack everything from I think*** I should be fine...... I have 11 cats and I can probably get them all to max collateral, but I only have 22 hitters.

I always hate reading these when they get long. Is that just 1 other pinch promoted in the 15 stack or is it 13 pinch promoted?

Not sure. However you can check the details in the unit view (sword icon).

11 cats isn't enough sadly, if I had the same tier units it would be, but basically I can get them all down to around 9 strength, which isn't good enough. I can just pile the units into the city and bring my other stack over though............

Believe that means 13 of the cuirs have Combat 1, but only 1 has Pinch.

Is pulling back and trading space for time an option? That doesn't look like a favorable exchange

ya attacking out isn't favorable. Losing either Roots or Liverpool Judies is also not acceptable. I'm just going to huddle up in the city. I can get 3 more units from the island into it and then I'll move some minutemen from Roots in. Then will move most of the stack from Liverpool Judies over.

The good thing is Charriu is just tying down units and not really threatening up north and Scooter doesn't seem to want to kamikaze me.

BTW if you are ever in a situation where you have a chance of dying WHIP BLOODY. Now I'm not dry whipping EVERYWHERE, but there are a few. HeaveAwayJohnny is only city I think that has escaped abuse as that city just grows SO slow. As a reminder the unhappy faces on the mainland are WITH Notre Dame built.

Commodore was sadly right about Scooter gunning for me. In the west sent his stack here???? I'm confused why not actually threaten a city, but I'm thankful. To note combat log is from both naval fronts. Here in the west put up a wall of wood to help limit number of troops he can land. Thought I had a 4th ship to form a 2nd wall at landing zone, but I only had 3 so sent 3rd toward front just in case. I'm actually slightly worried as he had WAY more ships I thought up here.

Oh and Charriu is tying down troops in the north still.

In the east cleaned up Scooters stack that landed troops on mainland. He has another fleet stack that could move in here Also, see SD stuff as I tried negotiating. Sadly no go.

So in the east stuffed the city with 13 units total (brought 3 longbows from island) vs Scooters 15 units.

Anyways reran sim and even with more cats and less cuirs it didn't work as a lot of my stack was on other side of river. Instead went for some cleanup starting by using new gg getting 4 formation pikes which all won. I am sad I lost 1 pike fight later, but it had to happen eventually.

I sacrificed a lot of city raider II maces sadly, but it made the most sense. Will regret later, but more pressing concern atm. I want to make sure I have best odds next turn. I then stuffed a lot of remaining stack that was in Tank into Roots so that no matter where SD moves I can hit him. Also, had a lot of new pikes that are now in there.

Edit: with arrival of Scooter time for MORE DRY WHIPS!!!! I was 4th in pop and almost dropped below Bing in score this turn. I actually searched for a legit way to do this, but failed. Everything that could be whipped this turn was (except again HeaveAwayJohnny)
