Babylonian hordes swarmed into Viking lands in never before seen numbers. Supposedly all because they were scared of our growing strength. They even went so far as to dupe the Byzantines and Romans into playing along with a deception...or maybe they weren't duped but those races are equally as treacherous as the Babylonian's. Only time will tell. Still, we welcome the onslaught, for it is not viking blood that will be shed.

With a prayer to Odin, the viking warriors were whipped into a frenzy and attacked the invaders without mercy...and without viking bloodshed.

A message was sent to the Babylonian leader. All it said was:

You have chosen UNWISELY

Hello Everybody,

I never thought I'd say this but I'm going to have to leave this game and I believe I shall be absent from the community for a good long while. I've had some serious circumstances come up and there's no way I can avoid them or sacrifice any of my RL commitments so I can continue to play. I will continue to play the turns as best I can but as you can see I'm barely able to play a couple turns a week this past week and the pace isn't going to get better anytime soon. I shall try and find a replacement as quickly as possible. As far as getting this turn played, there's a slim possibility I will have access to a civ pc long enough to play tonight but if not I should be able to find some time by the end of the weekend to get it done.

I'm sorry about this everybody but sometimes well...life happens.

Here's to my countless wasted hours spent here and the wonderful enjoyment I've had thanks to the wonderful people that make this community. Hopefully I'll be back!
