I would say civac will win, but I suspect that he and gavagai will end up staring at each other across a long border and someone will end up taking over the east side.

Cap was taken, I expect to lose my last 2 mainland cities in the next few turns. Then it's some period of time stuck as an offshore civ. Depending on how much civac wants to devote to send praets offshore, I guess.

I've been trying to figure how I got SO far behind, and I have an idea now. I took a look at pbspy history and found whips for me, gavagai and civac.

Between turns 41 and 60 I whipped 3 times, for 1 pop each time.

Between 47 and 58, Gavagai whipped 3 times, for a total of 5 pop.

between turns 39 and 59, civac whipped 7 (SEVEN!) times, for 2 pop each.

Some of that, for civac, is being imperialistic, of course, and 2 pop whipping settlers. But I was imperialistic, too.

Gavagai asked for peace. At this point, I'm totally irrelevant so I accepted, if just to clean make the game go faster. civac landed a praet on my fur island, taking a worker, which is just jerky. I am still making axes (I doubt he realizes that amicola is sending me copper)

a barb galley is causing me all sorts of pain.

btw - I got a GG in my defense of DriveMyCar. It appeared IN driveymy, making the 2nd GG I got on defense in the city that was taken right after, which kind of sucks.

I got a PM from civac telling me that he can't play until late and that I should feel free to double move if it's not going to cause a problem.

On the one hand, I don't care and I'm irrelevant. On the other hand, he's saying that he wants to stay at war, but have the latter half of the turn order, which gives me a disadvantage, but only if it's not relevant that I double turn him.

What the fuck is this about? is this even something that's ok?

Given that I've been asked about pm's, any lurker want to let me know what is going on?

Now I'm confused.

Civac sent me a PM the other day saying he wasn't going to be able to play the next turn till late (ie, this turn) and asks me to flip the turn sequence.

I say no, we'll just have a long turn.

But then he plays quickly this turn.

Well, he sent peace, which I took. he also DOW'd gavagai - looks like gavagai is getting eaten by civac and commodore. Probably deserves it - I'm not sure I understand planting a city literally next to commodore's capital like that, and then attacking me. I mean, I get I was weak, but all he did was weaken me further which made it easier for civac to attack me. If he'd just expanded his own land and concentrated on commodore and let me alone, I woudl likely have ended up in a battle with civac anyway.

The curreny empire and the little islands I can expand to. I'll just play my game here until someone finds time to conquer me, I guess.
