Very sorry for the delay. Had a system crash and just got back online this morning. Save passed on.
New game?

Hey. I was worried we might need to seek a replacement.
If everyone is now back, it'd be great if we could push the pace a bit for the remainder of July. We've only played 8 turns so far.
havent seen a save for 2nd night.

The turn pace is really sapping my interest in this game. In starting, I had hoped we would manage 1 turn every day, while allowing for a few delays caused by those unavoidable RL demands. Perhaps 23–5 turns a month, if you want to put a number on it. As it is, we managed 13 turns in July, and I haven't received a new file now since Jul. 30 (four days, and counting).
Anyway, if y'all want to play a more leisurely game, I don't want to be the only person pushing things. Do you guys want to maintain this pace? Maybe not Al, by the sounds of things. Regardless, and speaking solely for myself, I plan to look for a replacement if things don't pick up soon. To be precise: this would mean playing 20+ turns per month, excepting large delays caused by holidays/emergencies/unavoidable RL demands, etc. Again, if I am the only one who feels things are going to slowly, I'd be happy to start looking for a replacement now.
I would like a faster pace...

Also, if it would be useful, I could gather and repost everyone's preferred time slots.
From looking at the tracker, I think that sticking to our original times would solve a lot of the trickle down/ripple delays, which seem to be causing problems rather frequently (one person gets to the save 6 hours late, causing a 36 hour turn lag, etc.). |
