I don't understand the point of lynching Selrahc. I agree with his points that he has lurked too much to get anything from it, and the Tasunke interactions aren't all that interesting. I like Lewwyn's case against

Ichabod

Two things make me wary of Gaspar, though:

I can't get a solid read on Ichabod this game at all. Early on I was convinced he was scum but since then he's sounded a lot more like well-considered Ichabod. But I think Lewwyn brings up a good point - the size of this game has made it a lot harder for players who are short of time/lazy (I'm both.) Generally I get a "feel" tell on someone then I go do a re-read. Now I get a feel tell on someone and then have to wade through 5 pages of Catwalk arguing with [strike]an invisible man in a chair[/strike] Azza, Tansuke arguing with himself and Rowain arguing with everyone. :oldwink: Its just tough to parse so you remember your feels but you can't put together any good arguments. Kind of amazing we've caught two scum, really.

This is a lot of "yay village" and "poor pitiful me" that doesn't really contribute anything. We already had the "this game has too many players" discussion a few days ago, why bring it back up out of the blue now? Lewwyn wasn't making the point that this game is hard to follow, he was making the point that he's been working hard to do scum hunting (when accused of being lazy and unfocused). I read the above by Gaspar as feel-good fluff meant to make us think villager when reading it.

I feel like if we don't lynch Pindicator, we're just going to keep having the same damned conversation everyday. So let's get it over with and he's either scum or we stop wasting 20 posts everyday discussing all the scummy stuff he's done that's too scummy to actually be scum. Or something.

"let's just get it over with" is not a very convincing argument, and I don't recall Gaspar being this indifferent. The exact same thing could be said for Ichabod, and the voting pattern D2 means we may well get information on pindicator from an Ichabod lynch. I'm not opposed to lynching pindicator (I still find the explanation for his vote wasting to be insincere, coupled with his reaction to accusations about it), but I'm surprised Gaspar just wants to get it over with. What's more, there's been very few posts last few days now (24h days).

I liked Gaspar's comments about me yelling at an invisible man in a chair, btw. I'm feeling increasingly confident that the reason why Azza is the invisible man in a chair is that a large group of players have a vested interest in treating him that way. Very little response has been aimed at the accusations against Azza, whether positive or negative. Sorry for quadruple posting...

Yeah, in prior games, when a wolf was caught, you'd run through their posts, triple-check things, ponder things. You didn't do that with Mattimeo which stuck out to me (you had excuses after day 1 ofc.) Looking in the scraper I see a hint of that in post 1897 but that was in the context of giving me and Mattimeo more time (i.e. time for me to confirm his role to to buttress his claim.)
