Sure, okay. That's an advantage for the wolf lynch scenario.

I mean this wagon is clearly born out of Novice buzzing around to see who follows, as he has done pretty much every day in the game. Nobody has actually given a rationale besides "A Selrahc lynch will give more info on Selrahc than a Tasunke lynch". Something that is true to the point of obviousness but doesn't really act as an argument, since a Selrahc lynch clearly gives less info about pretty much every other aspect of the game. The point of the game isn't "Understanding the mystery of Selrahc".

Re-reading Injera's posts on day 4 got me wondering if maybe he made up his claim by saying he visited people who were either scum or people who had claimed vanilla villager. But then I had also forgotten that Qgqqqqq confirmed Injera's night 3 action visiting you, so on my part.

I'm back on, as I've said about four times now. I've read most of the game thread, I've been posting and drawing conclusions.

I have never been amongst the most active posters in these games. But I'm actually playing now rather than merely existing in the game.

Provided that Selrahc gives us more to go on from now on, I think the best way to gain more info on Selrahc is to let him speak (= not hanging him tonight). Unlike Azza, The Invisible Man, Selrahc has seen plenty suspicion while lurking.

Not sure pindicator. With wolf-tinted glasses on, I'd say Azza asks about the timing of Mattimeo's claim (very easily checked) in order to have something to talk about. I'm not sure where his theory about Mattimeo mimicking thestick comes from. We were discussing the plausibility of his role name at the time. Also, it's curious that he seems to have his theory backwards. Namely, thestick seemingly reduced his power because Mattimeo's power was restricted.

Did Matty claim before or after thestick? If after, he might have been mimicking thestick's limited use role, because every other revealed role thus far has been unrestricted.

Of course, it might also be a deliberate ploy from the mafia to claim roles less powerful than they actually have.

I'll wait and see Matty's response before i change my vote, but he's looking kinda sus atm.

Azza points suspicion at Mattimeo without actually wanting to vote him. Mattimeo does come on to respond (with 18.5h left until lynch, around noon for both Mattimeo and Azza). His next post is a full 48h later, (not bothering to comment anymore on who to lynch, the actual lynch result or the night kill) right after TT pokes a vote at him:

The sheer weight of posts in this game is overwhelming. I don't consider myself to have been lurking, if i were lurking id have been posting a fair bit less.

I think that Injera's claim looks likely to be true, as he wouldn't have risked being called out on it if he invented his investigating out of thin air.

Im quite wary of novice, he seems to hold a lot of power in the village and i find it concerning. But i see no reason to lynch him at this stage.

Every time i start to cool a bit on Catwalk, he seems to find new ways to make me suspect him.


Those are 3 things that immediately come to mind without requiring any looking back in the thread (which is too hard for me to bother with on my phone)

Yeah, in prior games, when a wolf was caught, you'd run through their posts, triple-check things, ponder things. You didn't do that with Mattimeo which stuck out to me (you had excuses after day 1 ofc.) Looking in the scraper I see a hint of that in post 1897 but that was in the context of giving me and Mattimeo more time (i.e. time for me to confirm his role to to buttress his claim.)

You're right, but Matt mostly talks of himself and dead players. His posts do enhance my view that Mattimeo voters Catwalk & TT are villagers. And encourage the thoughts on Selrahc, since Matt defended him.

He thought both Qgqq and Injera were villagers. This added to the fact that thestick claimed 2-shot watcher makes me lean innocent Injera even more. At this point Matt was probably trying to act as villagerish as possible to direct attention away from himself.

No, you misunderstood me. I'm trying to say that information was out there, it was only a matter of time before it became apparent. So props for quoting them together, but not a proof of a villager, I'd think.

If I turn out scum, you'll get a bit of an indication that Tasunke is innocent, probably a hefty dose of suspicion on Novice(except he is probably going to be instrumental in getting me hung). Probably some more stuff based on more tentative reasoning as well, like looking at people who I haven't talked about when I probably could have, or trying to slot me into some scum profile in part of a "blender, lurker, alpha" lineup. Not a lot of stuff...

If I turn out village, little of use is going to be revealed. My votes have only interacted meaningfully with one of the lynches before today, and I haven't really pressured many people. My pushing on Tasunke isn't really going to gain any more weight, since it's just based on my read without any additional info. There will be a little revealed in seeing that I was a valid person for the wolves to push to try and get a mislynch, and that there has always been an undercurrent pushing for my lynch through the game, trying to keep the suspicion on me high.

You defend by saying your flip will reveal nothing? Why do I get the impression that that is intentional? Unable to play, you'd rather keep a small footprint to keep your buddies safe.
