Well, I suppose what all that was about, was to say, well, I can see why you removed defender, but if you remove the additional benefits and have it only give the promo, it would make a decent Sidar Civtrait.

The demon altar went to national wonder as a beast collar :P

imho it makes it just an Infernal Nerf.

You already have a beast collar in terms of Demon Altar requiring beast, and the Altar causing +1 unhappy imho. If u think its still to strong, then make it more expensive and have it +100% production speed with entropy mana (or sheut stone) or something.

what would you guys think about letting Shadowalk also ignore cultural defenses? it's pretty damn useless for a lvl 2 spell, most people ignore palisades and walls since proactive defense is generally much better.

yea (btw ... does it ignore just buildings, or buildings and terrain at the moment?)

I think it would be okay, but you have to watch out. It would be equivalent basically to completely bombarding a city instantly. I actually thought Shadowwalk let you bypass all defenses, so I guess I learned something here :P. But yeah, shadowwalk as it is really sucks. It's basically a weaker version of blur in most cases, which is really sad.

would be to have either 'ignore terrain cost' or '-1 terrain cost' ... I'm certain you can do that on a promotion (and the Shadowwalk effect is, indeed, a promotion)

despite the description, shadowwalk has nothing to do with terrain defense, just buildings in cities :D

Is there a way to make it ignore terrain defense?

(other than just raw +25% forest attack/ +25% hills attack)
