This was overall a pretty solid performance by our team, so congrats all. Main theme from me was cluing numbers poorly.
Clue #1: Wrestling (4) Words intended were- * Pin (pin an opponent) * Ring (wresting ring) * Greece (Greeco-Roman Wrestling) * Yard ("backyard wrestling") I should have just made it a 3-word clue, since you all figured out the first three quickly enough but never even considered "yard". Backyard wrestling was probably too obscure... it was an early-2000's phenomenon partially inspired by the Jackass TV show and Pro Wrestling wherein young men would beat each other up in decidedly unsafe and unsanctioned "wrestling" events. Videos used to be marketed heavily on late-night television on channels like Spike. I also held out a little hope that you might go with "block" for the final word. "Death" was a remote possibility. Clue #2: House (2) Words intended were- * Yard (obvious) * Bed (also obvious) I felt dumb when one of you mentioned the "block" connection; it totally hadn't occurred to me, and I was worried you'd be turned off from the word for the rest of the game. Thankfully that didn't come to pass. Clue #3: Rockslide (2) Words intended were- * Block (Rockslides block roads) * Alps (A potential source of them) I realized "pass" was a potential misguess, but it was grey, plus I hoped that the fact that I clued rockslide instead of something like mudslide would steer you all in the right direction. You all ended up doing fine work here, so well done. I deliberately avoided cluing "bat" because Blue team was considering it. Clue #4: Man (2)  I couldn't think of anything better for our last two! Guess you all aren't fans of DC Comics :P Clue #5 Moth (2) Okay, this def. should have been something like "Falcon (1)", since you all were probably going to guess "bat" anyway. Regardless, bats eat moths, and the "hawk moth" is a reasonably well-known species (actually I think it's like an entire order of moths or something). So, on to Round 3! Oh, also, Blue Team- have you all seriously never read Poe's The Pit and the Pendulum ? I thought Auro's first clue was amazing, it applied to like over half your words.
