Queen is red, red wins
Missing blue word was glove, sci-if was meant to get plot, missile, Mercury, diamond, laser, ray. Surprised that screen was picked over plot because I think of books more than films when it comes to sci fi. Engagement had no planned military association, I was trying for date + diamond + gloves so I needed a romantic word that was formalised enough to involve costumes with gloves and diamonds, but still not on the level of marriage that I could get date in there, so I compromised without even thinking about military connotations. I also forgot that I could give unlimited clues until a second after I hit post on that, so yeah. Third one was just to clean up with something related to espionage, and I went with spy rather than just espionage to try and communicate that there was someone actually there doing stuff that they might not want fingerprints on, so glove. In retrospect I think I should have been less ambitious with my sci fi clue, but I remembered back to last time I spymastered and had a clue that could have gotten like 6 words and figured I should send in the high number, what’s the worst that could happen, better to lose flashily than because of too much caution.
