TBS has ended turn, so he had probably finished his turn prior to Zanth's login.
The portal is up, but the log has been wiped again, as tends to happen when the server is forcibly rebooted mid-game. Hopefully people are able to remember their turn splits.
I have to run.

Please take a look at the last post in the Unified Announcement thread. Thanks in advance

Whoever bounced off me, please update your hosts file with the new NATNEG server address:

To simplify his hosting environment, Caledorn will no longer be hosting a NatNeg server, so we ask everybody to start using Zulan's NatNeg server instead. As a bonus, it has considerably better historical uptime. You need to update your hosts file with a new IP address, the new address is 148.251.130.188. See the opening post of this thread for more detailed instructions.
If you don't update your hosts file, you will again start experiencing bounces with everybody. Caledorn's NatNeg server is currently down, and will not be restarted.
Thanks for your understanding!

Assuming it is semi-fair for neighboring civs I think we are now/soon so far that Dhal needs to be replaced, if we somehow could find a sub. Constantly missing turns or playing 7 second turns when he actually logs in is probably even worse than what converting to AI would do. I'm not planning to start a discussion about RB/Pitboss-ethics, but my impression is that when you sign into these games, you commit to playing at least 5 min turns (or actively searching for a sub if totally impossible), even if you do not enjoy the current game situation too much.

I agree. Maybe Gawdzak will be able to give him the lurker treatment?
Caledorn, is it possible for you to reset Dhal's password? Even if it means one turn of AI control that can't matter much at this point.

Yes, I can either kick him, or I can log in to his Civ with the admin password and then queue stuff before I kick to AI (last case means AI doesn't get to do anything). However, as I am a player in this PB the last option might not be such a good idea.

Ok, I propose this, then:
48 hours from now, we kick Dhalphir to AI, and if a substitute shows up, great, if not, the AI stays in control.
That gives Dhalphir and other interested parties 48 hours from now to object/comment/endorse. If there are no objections, we go ahead. Thus, no matter what happens, turn 139 won't go unplayed.
I have to run.

I support this proposal.

That or maybe his neighbors should have a good old fashioned PYFT war and let the problem work itself out that way. But yeah replacement/retirement (if deemed appropriate by someone who can say so) is a quicker solution.
