"100+ destroyer fleet" ... while sending out the first settler-galleon
I mean, if those others are busy with land-wars, why not build up sea supremacy Got to look long-term. Biggest threat is Pindicator right now, but having galleons while he does not would make him hitting me MAD. Long term the six I were talking about are probably five now, with Plemo's recent losses (Tarkac just burned another Viking city).

Amicalola, I'm sorry buddy. Needs must as devils drive, and you're lost at this point with me unable to aid. Appreciate your dogged defense.
Plemo is winning handily against Tarkac in the littorals, consolidating the caravels to wipe the stacks. This is while he loses a border city to Tarkac's land stacks, ouch.
Reinforcements are coming. Operation PYFT is rolling out, let's hope I manage to avoid hitting caravel sentries on my wide sweep.
Meanwhile, don't think I'm ignoring the east. It's not much, but once I pop borders those trees allow a chop or two and it's a simple little boost of a city.
I dub this new world South Japan. It's a lot of land, for all that it's mostly marginal. Flat grass/plains are fine with caste workshops, though, while the economy is found in all the coastal tiles.
Feel free to critique my dotmap in the lurker thread, it's not nearly 100% usage but it's basically me just trying to get a food source for each city and enough forests for most of them to quickly get going. I love this kind of settlement, going to require wooden walls though.

It's hard to judge the dot map without grid lines <squint>

You know, Tarkeel/civac? Very darned scary.
This is against overwhelmingly superior fleets. Nicely done guys.
I feel like my bet on them stopping Plemo, so not snapping up their south, was a good one.
The ice field land just got a lot more interesting. What weirdness is this?

Barb city could be interesting without any defenses!

I buried the lede, though...
Great city, with tons of food, an inner ring of heavy production, and an outer ring made up of Financial coasts...this is actually a rare city that wants to work all 17 tiles of its BFC. Sadly none of the rest of the overseas cities will be this good, but it is still pretty awesome.

Not nervousmaking at all. Crossbow and axe are plenty if it was an archer spawn, otherwise might need to generate a knight to open them up.
Whew boy. The gig might, in fact, be up.
Weird to be even in power with Plemo now, he's been hurting. If the game is to continue, he must die.
