Anywho - I'm catching bits and pieces of it as people do their own post-mortems, but I'd like to hear specifically for my own education:
- What went right with the running of the game?
- Where were the minor hiccups in running the game?
- What went horribly wrong with running the game?
Addtionally, what did people think of the no-PM format, the roleplaying bits, and the no-editing rules?
I never really replied to this, so let me commend you now for running the game in an impeccable manner. The only thing of note was that you were a little bit late to close the voting on a couple of occasions, but that is of course understandable in a game that lasts so long. (Yet another feature that could be incorporated into an automated WW tally system.)
I think the rules worked out quite nicely, but in the future I would allow edits for spelling/grammar/formatting within 10 minutes of posting. I think we can trust people to not abuse that; the main danger of editing IMO would be wolves going back to remove incriminating evidence several days after the fact, when nobody is likely to notice the change. The last edited timestamps will prevent that.
In short, I really enjoyed the game. Playing as a wolf was both challenging and fun. As an aside, it's a bit ironic that the main source of hard feelings that we have seen so far in these games tends to be villager in-fighting. Hell hath no fury like a wrongly accused villager, or something like that...

Felt like I was pulling teeth...

. I was heavily suspecting you and then you jumped against him with that "wow that's heavy stuff against Zakalwe!" message (that just sounded so false). I immediately thought it as an attempt to get a villager killed
Yeah this was pretty funny... all in all, I think the interactions between me and Scooter worked out pretty well, though perhaps more by accident than by design.

Figuring out how to interact with the other wolves, and how much suspicion to cast their way, was a delicate thing to balance and a fun part of the game for me. I also tried to maintain a list of imaginary "fellow wolves" to drag down with me, though I could have done a better job on that. If I did get lynched, my advice to the other wolves was to go after Jkaen next, as I had been trying (and perhaps failing miserably) to set him up to look like an accomplice of mine after my death.
I know I really shouldn't, due to the time sink, but right now I think I would find it very hard to resist signing up for another game.
