I think we're fairly close to a point where a mass claim can be beneficial, and I don't think bringing up the topic is scummy.

I'm going to throw my vote on Hashoosh who seems to be cruising below the radar quite succesfully. Maybe he has 2 team mates who are deflecting attention elsewhere?

I still haven't seen anyone else come out and say "ya know what, that's a good idea." which tells me that while it may not be 100% bad, at the very least its fishy and strategically questionable, it could also be fishING, and I'm not satisfied enough that's not the case to move my vote.

There aren't that many normal villagers left so scum has a high chance to hit a PR anyway. Not to mention that our vig has the same chance so if you rather risk that our vig kills off our PR's fine.
We also have a good chance to bring a PR close to the gallows and have then maybe 10 or 15 min or none at all left to react instead of 24 or more hours like now. I personally would prefer a full roleclaim to narrow down the field now over shooting in the dark with half the field either silent or TZ/Life or what ever restricted.

I agree that last minute claims would be bad. That's why I've been saying claim away, if you're under pressure.

If we do end up resolving the Rowain/Azarius dispute the hard way, I'll be siding with Rowain. So I'm putting my vote back on Azarius now that he should be coming back on-line, to give him fair warning.

I would also like to hear more from Hashoosh.

Sorry, I've been travelling and I'll be quite spotty this weekend. The fact that Catwalk is trying to vote me is pretty understandable, I've fingered him. But his reasoning is laughable, claiming I've two teammates misdirecting for me. No one's mentioned me, I find it hard to believe that there's misdirecting going on.

That said, I was defended on the first day. I don't find that suspicious, given I'm both a noob and presently harder to read because of it. I'm near set on Catwalk as scum now, for that comment on teammates (no need to misdirect if nothing's been directed) which could apply to almost anyone who hasn't been voted.

I ignore words and look at tone. The Azarius tone is flippant. I can do reason but it makes me bored I would rather be flippant like this.

I have a real problem with too many responses to the arguments Az is making being sorely lacking in the actual argumentation part. Lots of claims going around, little to no grounds or warrants. Toulmin is taught as a standard for a reason folks. If you need help with this hit me up, I've got a fair amount of experience teaching argumentation. I'm down to vote for anyone, even a buddy, because there are no friends here, but FFS a reason would be nice. The first three votes tonight were "blah blah blah" oh and Az needs to die.

We don't need reasons in Supermarketville. Piling onto a wagon built on a strawman argument works plenty fine here.

I don't see anything weird about asking Qg what he meant by that along with a small lighter under his feet. Taking little jabs at people and seeing how they react is a big part of scum hunting. His response made perfect sense, so I'll unvote.

I'm sceptical of what a mass role claim would give us. I don't think it's an outrageous or scummy suggestion, but it seems like the scum benefits outweigh the town benefits. I don't like the bandwagon on Azarius, I think he's being targeted for mislynching because he tends to overreact to accusations, thereby putting the noose around his neck. That seems to be happening here. Out of the ones accusing him, I'm least suspicious of Rowain. I think one or more scum jumped in to back Rowain once the conflict started rolling. Hopping back to work, break over.

Sorry to hear you're under the weather Catwalk. Given who is pushing for the claim, I would urge any bean loving survivors not, unless they feel they have a very good reason to.

Also, based on how inactive this day has been so far I'm guessing that the scum are quite content with seeing that spat run its course.

My readings indicate the current happiness level of the bandits thusly.

Ok Azarius I am listening. What again is your care on Rowain? So far what I see is that he is an annoying stone wall who says nothing and seems evil. I see that but that is basically just Rowain. Why does he look like a scum?

Who else looks bad to you? Besides of course every one voting for you I guess.

Mattimeo what ever man your vote just screams you do not want to say any thing new or get involved so you just slide.

Hashoosh I definitely see Catwalk as acting suspicious. But more like his serial killer game to be honest.

I'll be around for a while yet tonight, but will be busy tomorrow and almost certainly not present for the deadline. If anyone around has any burning questions now would be the time to ask them. (Yes I am aware most people are probably asleep now unfortunately.) Given that the wagon has sat on me all day with practically no discussion, it's a good bet I swing tomorrow.



Hopefully that leaves it 5-3, but likely 4-3-1. I will echo Mattimeo in asking that the vig not shoot unless they are really damn sure, and that if there is an SK they either hit scum or also hasten their own demise.
