Sengoku Chevalier: Hiun no Kishi

Yeah, the game should end shortly. Whosit storms Arirang:

But his own empire is rapidly collapsing, as Krill takes another city:

That has to be the Roman core that fell, and now he'll be coursing into the eastern lands.

Whosit really got too hung up with Korea and myself, neh, and let China run rampant in the west? Wish I'd been able to get a scout that way.

Actually, the poison pill argument is a good one. If you can get all your cities to Archduke's religion, Krill has to be very careful about conquering you, or risk flipping himself to Archduke's religion (and instantly losing the game). So converting yourself isn't purely spite, but materially affects Krill's ability to conquer you without dooming himself.

It's too bad we can't see Krill's cities to figure out how close he is to that threshold, or if he can plausibly leave an enclave of Rome or Korea which Archduke can't convert, protecting himself from religious victory that way.

Does Krill have inquisitors unlocked? How many cities are following his religion?

So Whosit is attacking Greenline in stead of defending his cities? Looks like you are not the only one kingmaking! Williams makes a good point of why you maybe even should. Although that will probably mean he will raze everything. I am not sure that to prefer that over conceding your cities, is a good trait for an emperor smile.

Krill is storming through Rome's cities to the east, taking Minskin and Persian on the same turn. Aegean and Chartreux are on my border. Also, there are two frigate fleets and two ironclad fleets at Texas Bay in the west, ready to rip my heart out.

It's never been more over than it is now. I hope Archduke concedes soon.

Krill declares war, pillaging my 5 coastal trade routes and storming Korutu in a single turn. Nothing really I could have done, so, yeah. We'll lose most of our coast over the next few turns. I pull the Samurai towards Honda to group up and at least go down with dignity, while still converting any cities I can to Archduke-ism.

Archduke really must think he has a shot, because Krill is running away, light-years ahead of everyone else.

Can you tell at all what the religious conversion situation is for Krill? Perhaps Archduke thinks he can complete the conversion, or get most of the way there and tip the scales with some strategic razes?

I'll check the religious screen next turn. I'm prioritizing converting my cities that Krill is going to take (basically, the 75% that are on the east coast). If he conquers enough of mine and Archduke converts hsi core, maaaybe there's a chance? Like...1%?

That's GG.

Even if Archduke has Krill on the ropes religiously, Whosit's religion is much to strong to make him an easy conversion target so all Krill has to do is not kill him and Archduke is stuck. Maaaaaaaaybe if there's enough time on their DoF it could happen, but that probably requires Krill making a really dumb choice to extend it in the recent past.

Krill attacking you with ironclads, frigates, and... chariots is a pretty funny juxtaposition. I imagine those are faith purchases intended to help with loyalty.

Krill placed a cuirassier on my Industrial Zone and pillaged it one SINGLE turn before the Workshop would have completed and inspired Industrialization for me, completing that tech as well. That's only like the 18th most disastrous thing that's happened to me this game, though, and the game is over anyway, so no worries!

I could do screenshots, but, like, what's left to see? Archduke still thinks he can squeeze out the Religious win, but the other three nations of the world are all tumbling into China's lap.
