Lady luck did not smile at us. We lost both coinflips when he attacked with his axes against our War Chariots. I don't know if we were lucky or unlucky overall, but we really couldn't afford to lose those battles. Our axe only stopped one spearman, but he softened up the axe with a warrior first. Our warrior stopped one spear, and our war chariots killed both of his chariots.

I think we gave this a good shot so I don't feel very bad about this - at least not compared to certain PBEM23 battles. lol Still, I've learned that it can be a good idea to sleep on the save when you open it up to a big slaughter.

This is the second turn that Mackoti takes huge risks with pastrama btw - I guess he'd rather see both cities razed and resettle, than seeing Lucky Luke survive. Makes sense.

He has 7 units left, we can whip a war chariot and move in an axe, to have 5 units defending. So maaaybe the city can hold another turn. Our axe and warrior have one promotion pending. But so do most of his units.

We need to check if the axe that we move in can fortify, or if we'd be better off leaving it unfortified.

Feel free to chime in with your thoughts.

Sadly, losing coinflips and winning high-odds defensive battles does not give many GG points. smile We're at 12/30 now.

Ouch.

Only major suggestions would be to switch Cupid to an axe in case we have to whip it and to give Cupid the rice instead of the capital. Then obviously just promote and move units into LL and hope the RNG favors us this time.

I made sure to save up to 59 gold, enough for a warrior upgrade.

I was thinking of renaming it, but didn't want to openly cheapen Mackoti's play. smile

About the GG points. The tile that Mackoti's stack is on is like 45% his and 55% ours, so I imagine we would both get more GG points than normal from winning battles on that tile.
