Ok. I'll attack out with all the clan units that can attack if they are gonna die. I forgot about the new edu civics, I'll probably swap into them with the spi civs. Also whilst there is still copper I'll build wars for kurio and reassess after. I'll have to play in a few hours as no pc access atm.

Well no objections from my plan so here goes. Slightly less grim than I thought but we aren't going anywhere with this...

Clan. Got a warrior out, went for the 2 XP giving civics and used autopromote so he may get promoted for next turn. Suicided the goblin in the kurio front who did .5 damage to the centaur. Used the warriors to sit where the workers were gonna go (I know their turn order has kurio first so they can protect v the centaurs, not sure who is next) as they could not hit.

Lanun - realised they are spi! Switched to the 2 xp making civics and could 1 turn a warrior. Moved the other warriors down to near the cap. Left a bait worker on the forest hill to try and slow them down...

Kurio - Hit the tasuke horsemen and killed both for 1 warrior loss (the second was 0.8 health). I did stack attack however so the unused warrior ended there too. Kept everyone else in the city. We are bunkered pretty tight in there so I went for a centaur build. The cap finished the worker as that would allow a lot of overflow hammers for centaurs. Proposed a copper trade to lanun so when we lose

Yeah so we got a city that won't be undefended but... Well I am happy to concede whenever.

Ah sorry, if by some miracle clan do not die this turn, I was gonna settle anywhere and gift to them. Although as I say this I realise that the turn would need to roll again for them to accept... Whoops. He can't be hit anyway, but stupid error there now I think of it.

I take it you have seen the save? Shall I just play on? I'll use it for learning the mod practice perhaps...

Re the new save - unsure where to go with the build in the northern Lanun city - more warriors? Or let it grow and use nice tiles? I thought an exp sea haven might be a nice idea? They seem strong. We have a lake and a 1t to complete wine we can use. I'm building warriors in the cap and when at max overflow rolling it into an exp sett. We will get those islands up asap.

Also we should be able to kill the mobility 2 centaur. We have 2 warriors in range if they promo to mobility, first on 25% ish odds. Worth it I think to take down the fast mover. No idea where those 2 heavily promoted horsemen are.

What for the South? The new cap has many workers, and 2 warriors 1 centaur. I would still push centaurs as they get def bonuses, and it seems the hordes are heading north. Also we have no copper for them - however we could cancel for a turn soon and then redo the trade to promo warriors?

Yeah, you want to cancel/renew trade once every 10t (which means, btw, cancel on the Kurio turn so that eot units get promo). You can move the units out of city and back in to get the promos before the turn finishes.

Lanun: I'm not sure. I don't think haven beats warriors, but does it beat growth? What size is it at, atm?

Remember we need a galley to settle islands (obvious, I know, but best to make sure).

So go warrior builds? Sea haven I thought as it gets the exp bonus and would be somewhat useful. It's only size 3 working a fish, lake port and other port. We have enough happy for size 8.

I know we need a galley! It's a food hammer unit atm so probably can 1 turn from the cap, and spam workboats for fast growth. We want to get them up whilst still cre for quick borders. Sailing is still 3/4 turns away.

Won't grow on workboats, in case you're saying that (btw, the two we have exploring should be good for the first city).

It isn't a question of happy so much as good tiles. But sure, it could probably benefit from a bit of growth.
