As I see it anything close to even trades are very good for us as we have more cities and are taking his. 13/15 is decent odds for that. With retreats I'm guessing that we will lose a few units more than gj which should be worth it to take the big central city. Even in a bad case we make no headway early and lose a few units.

As the conclusion I can say there is nothing you can do agains "0 hits". It is like you had no unit at all. I know there is nothing I can complain this game and I am happy that I had no hope to continue wasting units this early.

That stack should be killable by numids as soon as they are on the flatlands around Carthage. We need 15-20 though.

Elkad moved towards Leptis. I decided to attack his stack since he was on flat. Lost 3 numids but killed a half of his stack.

Unfortunately he will probably escape with his hwachas and come back with more spears. But what were the other options? To give up a city size of 6?

I really screwed up defending and we are probably losing 2 cities this turn without big chances to return silver city from OH at least. Other one will probably be razed by Elkad.
I relied on 77.7 and 88.8% odds this time and lost both.
