Has anyone (other than me, of course) /not/ complained about their start!?

If I was Pin I might just raze canyon to avoid endless warring then go join Commodore in Bing attack.
It depends on culture %. Because he gave the city in a peace treaty it reset the culture and we know Amica put some culture in it (pretty sure).
Looks like Amica/pindicator are firmly stuck in the unprofitable war that Q and Mjmd predicted a while back. Catapults really are something.

I ask, what options are for Amicalola ? Pin wrote, Amicalola whipped his empire down and he lost 3 cities (of 12). So Amicalola can't use the enforced peace to bridge the gap in research, because Pin should have a better research. Pin wanted 3 cities with the first offer. Turn around and hit Tarkeel ? With Plemo as new neighbour, an open flank to Pin and a new border to Commodore ? Or try to pin down Pin and hope, Commodore wants to finish his bigger neighbour off ? - Something Commodore thought about.
Agreed.
For Bing it makes sense to side with Commodore to live to fight another day. There isn't anyone to help him and he is down tech. Hope Commodore gets stuck in Pin for a while. For Amica, the best hope is that someone else comes in.
I like the attack on Lindholm. I'm not as sold on the Björgvin attack. What he should have done is during one of the peace treaties chopped that forest NW of Odense in neutral territory so eh could road it time of attack and gone after Odense. Sure Plemo gets 1 turn visibility, but sounds like he got that anyways (he mentioned 2 turns in his post). More likely to be able to actually gain a city that way and keeps army close together for support.
It is smart to hit before Berserkers and I know he wanted to go earlier. If he just sat back he would be eaten for sure and he couldn't go after Pic as long as Plemo was sitting there so Plemo's gripe there doesn't make sense. I mean he is probably still doomed, but there is a chance even if its only 1%.
I think Plemos smoking something. Superdeath is absolutely right to hit him and has no reason to trust him. Plemos proposed plan for him seems very very difficult to imagine, involves getting very lucky with attacks, and would almost certainly just result in him getting rolled from the rear.
On a different note, Pin seems to be tilting a little. I don't think his views of Amicaloa are justified, and it feels like a mistake to have launched this classical era dogfight instead of vulturing some of Bing and turning up with knights.
