Sorry rego, that was indeed my fault - I assumed you knew the resource spots and were talking about the leftmost spot not counting the resource spots. 
Although the official rules *do* have pictures of all the spots, for reference...

Okay can someone explain what I did? I more or less randomly assigned my people then it was my turn to roll
So I clicked on the 2 people I have out hunting (that I thought were in the fields!) and got a 6-5
Then rolled a 5 on the guy in the woods
Then a 3 and a 1 on my guys in the brick pit
So... what's that mean?

You got 7 food, 1 wood and 1 clay this turn. You can spend resources on either the cards (priced 1 to 4 of any resource) or huts (with the cost and points they get you on the front). You pay food each turn of people minus ploughed fields. I explained Stone Age in a bit more detail in this thread - go back to page 3 and have a read.

Damn - I had 3 rolls with 2 dice this turn, two of the rolls were for wood - and all 3 turned up 5.
