Serdoa Wrote:Roland, I agree with Meiz on that one. catwalk does play like that. He feels a certain way and shouts that out, trying to get everyone moving with him in the direction he feel is right. It seems he often forgets to take things into account in those circumstances (not meant personally catwalk) though. I'm not a great fan of it and had in the last WW-game some discussions with him because of it. It also made him suspected by me and others quite a bit last game. And of course it is bad because a wolf could easily hide behind such play. But tbh I think catwalk simply is the typical villager-mislynch-candidate.
Ok. Thanks for your input Serdoa. Having never played with Catwalk, it's difficult for me to gauge him based on anything other than face value, so a little past impression is a good thing. Meiz echoed your sentiments earlier, but... I don't know. Something about him this game just doesn't fill me with the usual confidence that he's 100% innocent, so I took his opinion of Catwalk with a grain of salt. Unless both you and Meiz are in cohoots (in which case the Village has already lost :neenernee) I'm willing to accept that this is just typical Catwalk behavior.
I'm still not convinced of Catwalk's innocence, but I'll admit I really don't have much to suspect him on. I wouldn't put it past a newbie 'Wolf to be just as eager to prove himself as a newbie Villager, but I'm not going to hang someone based on that. I'm not that stupid (anymore). :neenernee Nothing personal Catwalk. It's probably just a personality clash (as if I don't have enough of those behind me already).

Somehow Meiz is typing the same thing I was thinking... yeah, that surely was the great post I had waited for from uberfish

Hard for me to say when I can't quote at the moment, I'll firm. It up when I get home tonight. Just didn't get the same vibe as last 2 games but that could be because then I knew for fact all parties involved were innocent.
Re: TT - lynching. You were on the block for a bit, posted little of substance and now there's no chance you hang. I like to see people work a boot harder to get off the block. Like MNG last nite for example
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Uber, we only have your word for your intentions. We have no seer to confirm your innocence, and if you are innocent, the wolves would not dare night-kill you with so much suspicion around you.
We will likely be able to draw a lot more information from your 'gambit' once we know your alignment.
You quite simply have to be lynched. Otherwise we'll keep having the same argument over and over again and learn nothing from it.

Either that, or maybe it was a bad villager play on your part. We have no seer to check your story, and we need to hang someone. With little to go on day 1, you clearly stand out as a target. If we had a seer I'd be more inclined to believe you were a villager stirring things up, or at least give you the benefit of the doubt. The vote can still easily swing from you to TT, so I won't take your taunt at face value just yet as wolves do that all the time.

Roland, don't sweat it. I don't have him pegged as innocent either. Only that he is playing like I expected it. That makes him - for me - a bad lynch target right now, as we have others which either don't play at all or play not as expected.

1) Without a seer and only uberfish (and the wolves) knowing what his gambit truly is, leaving him to live would just leave the question of his innocence further down the line when mislynches could be more painful. Removing him removes all doubt as to his alignment and put the issue to rest.
2) What exactly am I being let off the hook from?
Twinkletoes, thank you for the update on your absence. I was beginning to suspect something like that had to be going on, because I've never seen you stay silent for so long unless there was no heat on you. I must say, your posts of late ring... I don't know, much more substantial than I remember you playing in the past? Perhaps I'm misremembering, though. At any rate, not quite sure what yo make of it, but if you keep up the same level I'm sure it will help all of us find out your true alignment.
With regard to your #1 point, specifically, how do you see a mislynch today being any less painful than further down the line? I mean, granted statistically we're much more likely to mislynch on the first day, but it's not like we haven't seen a 'Wolf go down on the first day. I guess I'm just trying to come to terms with why you're so calm about lynching uberfish, regardless of whether he's a 'Wolf or a Villager. I mean, zak holds a very similar position, but he's done a good job of at least explaining it. That, and he's zak - I'd expect him to lynch a known Seer if he truly believed in his motives. :neenernee
I'm just trying to gauge you better, and your reasons. If you've explained them further than your initial post(s) and I've missed them, I apologize. It's been tough for me to keep up with today's pace.
Also, I'm keeping my vote on you, for similar reasons as Gaspar. One more vote on uberfish isn't going to change anything, and I don't feel like flip-flopping about. Call it an incentive to keep you talking (when you can, of course).

I do have him pegged in the "could be villager" camp simply because he has played just like I'd expect. In time it will hopefully become more apparent which side he really is. So leaning towards innocent, but definitely not as confident as my comment might seem.
Anyways, It's pain to miss the last hours, but it's getting late and I have an early wake up waiting. Feeling good on my vote.

I understand what you are saying Gaspar and I could agree with it. But your actions don't follow your words. You don't like it that he is left so easily from the hook and for that reason you yourself changed your vote to Rowain? Who did not have any vote at that moment? Um... that does not really make sense. Leaving your vote at TT would surely keep more pressure and maybe inspire others to follow you onto him again.
If uberfish would just defend himself a little bit better, I would vote for you right now tbh.
